It was mid-June and I still didn't have my tax refund. That is part of the complaint. First complaint is that my tax return was not correct when I came in to sign. Although I'd prepared a sheet of paper with list of income, taxes, etc. one of my W-2's was not included on the return. There was also another mistake. I had to take it home and look it over and called back to say to go ahead and send to IRS. I had to leave message and asked that someone confirm that the message was received. I left several messages to confirm and no one would call me back. I also emailed and finally on April 14 someone emailed me that the return had been filed. I started calling mid-May or so concerned that I hadn't received refund. I called several times, couldn't get an answer to even verify that it had been filed and no one ever called me back, even after leaving many messages. I've never experienced such poor customer service. I kept calling and finally someone told me there was a problem with my return and others as well. Couldn't say what the problem was or when it would be fixed. To this day, I still don't know why my return was not filed. During the week of June 5, I was finally able to reach someone who told me my return had been filed (IN JUNE)! They did not know what the problem had been. I learned by calling the IRS that they had filed an extension and didn't tell me.
This has been the most disturbing experience I've ever had with filing my taxes. This office did not ONE TIME return any of my many phone calls, and did not follow up in any way. I left a message for John Quattrocci as well and, again, no return call.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ended up filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau asking for the money I paid be returned and got no response from them. read more
