I would have given 0 stars, but 1 is the minimum.  My wife and I met Jody Rydell on February 29,…read more2024, and we provided our tax documents to him on March 11.  On April 11, four days before taxes were due, he wrote "They are all prepared, and the next step is for me to review each of them to ensure they are presented correctly.  It will not take too long to complete the review, but it will be passed [sic] 4/15."  On April 23, he told us for the first time that someone in his office quit and that will cause a delay with our taxes.  He then took a TWO-WEEK vacation in the second half of April - what accountant takes a two-week vacation in April?  By May 21, we had enough of his excuses and delays and unanswered emails so we told him that we needed to move on.  While having our tax documents for the majority of three months (March/April/May), we never had any evidence that he ever started to do our taxes.  He never took responsibility for his failure.  This is your warning.  I would not use this accountant unless you want a lot of excuses, delays, and frustrations.  He is incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and uncommunicative.  Good luck.

So instead I used my Boss's accountant! Thanks Boss! :D NOTE: I've only done my taxes independently for 2 years since I graduated from college back in Dec 2012. I highly recommend for all professionals to come to Harless. They will help you lots. Esp if your past taxes were horribly done in the past... Cough TurboTax Make sure when you go in to bring everything. Tax returns, w2s, car register forms, house mortgage paperwork, and etc. If in doubt, bring it! I did. I had a big bag full of paperwork. BRING EVERYTHING. It'll save you trips to back to the accountant I'm sure. As for how to get here... Ok - so I got lost, but thankfully Deborah (Office Admin) was in early and helped me via phone. Google Maps will take you NEAR Harless & Assoc, but not exactly at it. Instead of taking Buckhead Ave, you should park in the parking deck of 1 Buckhead Plaza. When you park, take the elevator to Level 4. Once you get off that elevator, walk across to the plaza and take that elevator to Level 18. Not sure about you guys, but Buckhead can confuse me so much. :( I had Steven Haupt for my tax preparer. Very personable & professional. He did damage control & fixed everything that was a mistake on my paperwork. He also asked every question in the book when it came down to it. Questions I had no idea that were useful for my w2s, ha. He even printed up everything we talked about during our session. My memory sucks sometimes, so it's nice to get a few pieces of paper as reminders. Don't forget to get parking validation!..... and to make sure to get back to your car by the 2 hour mark; otherwise, you will get towed. Safe to say, if I ever get audited, Harless & Assoc will beat whoever it is with a stick that's made up of paperwork :)

We were both taken to the hospital by ambulance, and honestly, we were shaken up and unsure of what to do next. A coworker recommended The Scott Pryor Law Group, and from the moment we reached out, they stepped in and took care of everything. They walked us through the entire process, answered all of our questions about the driver who hit us, and explained what kind of insurance coverage was in place. What really impressed me was how thorough they were. Not only did they find the driver's policy, but they also discovered a separate policy tied to the vehicle because she was delivering for Uber Eats at the time. That made a huge difference. We truly felt like we were fought for and looked after. The team made a difficult situation easier to navigate, and we're grateful for the way they had our backs every step of the way.
