I have several chronic conditions and he has always been able to help even if he has to send me to another doctor for treatment. He knows my husband and children on sight. Once I had a ruptured disc and in extreme pain. He sent me straight to have a MRI. Then straight to see a surgeon (there's usually a long time period to receive an appointment). He (his nurse sandra who has become a true friend usually calls) always calls to follow up on my progress. After my heart attack they called the same day I came home. I never notified them. I honestly believe that Milestone is the best in the Upstate. You won't be disappointed.A++++++++++ Tammy D

Office manager and staff have not one shred of empathy for people who have been through losses…read more They are condescending, and have refused me healthcare multiple times today, and are beyond unprofessional when it comes to medical notes. They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.

My doctor is very good. BUT the practice is managed very poorly, dangerously in my opinion…read more Messages to your doctor are read by / replied to by various office staff. I've had two significant issues with communications to my doctor. My most recent experience was that the office staff did not know my doctor had changed my medication and didn't convey that to me when I reached then (a day after the new medication was sent to the pharmacy). Two different office staff were contentious about having the nurse call me back. I insisted. When we spoke I discovered that my doctor had changed my medication. The people reading and answering the emails on MyChart had no clue what my doctor had done or either they neglected to let me know of the changed medication. In addition, they created a post dated email chain to cover their oversight. Any of these is unacceptable if you are to believe you're communicating with and being cared for by your doctor or their nurse. Practice management at Coventry Primary Care RISKS patients' health, IMHO. My doctor is great.., BUT if you want to be assured that the intended doctor or nurse received your communication, in my experience, it must be by US mail since it"s unlawful to open mail addressed to someone else. Using MyChart, there is no telling who reads the email you think you're sending to your doctor or whether the message you needed to get to them was ever delivered. Oh, and there is no calling the practice directly. All calls are routed through an offshore call center that you must go through and they determine whether or not you can talk to someone in the practice. Again, only my experience, my opinion. But based on two significant issues revolving around poor and inaccurate communication, I would look elsewhere for a doctor.

We are transitioning my oldest sons over from pediatrician to Covenant Primary Care this year. Needless to say, we are happy with the healthcare provided by Covenant Internal Medicine. Dr. Mathias takes a genuine interest in the patient as a person and builds a relationship with his patients and not just treating their health symptoms in an impersonal manner. He is a good man of strong Christian faith. I have found him to be confidential, caring and easy to talk with or even pray with if needed. We could not be more pleased with our physicians and staff at Covenant Internal Medicine.

Was told someone would call me back. I called again that afternoon and was transferred to someone who made me feel like a bother. We by the I am so ready for a new PCP, had set an urgent care appointment. I am no so numbed by these people and their attitudes. The young lady that called yesterday was a little irritated because I was irritated that she would be calling me after so long. It was not her fault but come on. This is beyond poor care, and for seniors, this is scary. Somehow they managed to screw up my personal information, my emergency contact information. Note to whomever runs the humble clinic, my recent care deserves a 0. This place should be closed and every employee reevaluated and examined for a CARE pulse. No way I would ever go to Humanas insurance unless God instructed me to.

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at an Urgent Care…read more The check in process was efficient they did a great job. The initial nurse I saw was also great, but that Nurse Practitioner or PA whatever she is, Stacy Fender...never again. I tripped on the lip of our garage and twisted my ankle and cut up my knee. This woman acted like she couldn't touch me and wasn't listening to what I was saying. I just wanted to make sure nothing was broke on my foot because the swelling and pain was intense but no bruising and my main point to her...this foot had just recovered from a previous injury, which was like explaining it in a foreign language to her, she didn't get it. Next thing I know, the nurse is bringing me a cup for a urinalysis??? I ask why she says Stacy ordered it...I said for an Xray? Poor nurse she said she just follows orders. Thankfully nothing was broke and when it came time to look at my knee, this chick looked from afar and didn't even bother to redress it but had the nurse come back in, who did an amazing job. I asked Stacy why I had to pee in a cup for an Xray and she got all squirrly and said "it must have been a mistake" yeah your mistake, thank you for PROFILING me so blatantly. Then she had the nerve to say she would remove it so I don't have to pay for it but my urine was clean...UM YEAH I KNOW! I will never return there and possibly no Prisma, I'll just head to my regular doctor! What a shame!!
