Nice place for a romantic dinner. There's a full bar and menu. I chose the burger to take up to my room. This was in the evening and the instructions were to order at the bar. I've found that restaurant food is expensive in Australia, and even a bit higher here. But the burger was big and came with fries and even a few onion rings. The soda I had was priced about the same as other places. Strangley although I had specified takeaway, it came out on a plate. I wasn't given napkins or anything. When it was brought out to me, a french fry fell off. The bartender saw it, made a comment about it, and then just left it on the floor, which I thought was odd. She didn't come back, so I picked it up. Another fry fell off, so now I lost two. I couldn't find a trash bin and the two bartenders were busy, so I left the fallen fries on a counter. The burger was good, nice and juicy. It was topped with bacon and the usual suspects of lettuce and tomato. There was a mayo topping that seemed to have a mild kick. It comes with beetroot relish but I asked that it be left off. The fries and onion rings were crispy outside. At first they smelled a bit fishy - must have used the same oil - but thankfully they did not taste fishy. It was a satisfying meal, the hit of protein and fiber I needed. The restaurant can be reached by stairs or elevator, so it is accessible. However, I did not use the restroom, so I do not know if it is accessible. There are Happy Hour specials. Check them out.

The glass conservatory building around the side of the house is where you'll be for functions, and its impressive to say the least. The table decorations are impeccable, the interior decor is beautifully crafted, and everything is planned to perfection. I came here for a school formal once, and whilst it was very nice and fancy at the beginning of the evening, the kids lifted the roof on the dance floor. Whilst its appearance might put out a quiet, dainty character, once enough PAs are put into this place, it goes off! As John has pointed out, this isn't a walk-in establishment, and is only catered for private functions and big events. This place always seems to have something going on, so its advised that you book in advance.

This is how the conversation went. BB Lady - Well our events manager isn't in today. Us - That's a shame! Could you tell us your availability for late next year? BB Lady - what date do you want? Us - Um well we're not fussed ! Whenever you're free? Could we check it out? BB Lady - Sigh walks over to the diary Us - Well were happy for anytime in November? BB Lady - There are no dates available for November. Us - Um ok. Silence. Us - just a quick question, Sam's bro in law owns a restaurant and we can't wait to have him cater for us! There's a great atmosphere here, much like across the road at Enigma Bar. Everyone's interested in having a good time, and nobody wants to fight. Those are two things that I like when I go out, and so long as the beer keeps flowing and the laughs keep coming, you're guaranteed a great night out. The food here is great, and both meals and drinks are very affordable. They have James Squire varieties on tap (which isn't something you see too often), and you can get nice and pissed up without spending more than a fifty. The life of the party is at the outdoor areas, located both in front of the bar and out the back in the beer garden. The beer garden is where I like to spend most of my time, sat cosily in their wooden benches and seeing everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves. The Worldsend also have regular live performances, many being acoustic. There's nothing better than a good little singalong after a few pints!

This is a student sanctum, where UniSA folk flock after a hard day at uni. I'm often there by midday for a sneaky drink between classes, and can often find myself back there in the evening for more. The food is good, the drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is laid back. What more can you wish for? There's lots of places to kick back, whether it be out the front checking out the "talent" on Hindley Street, at the front bar, sitting down for a meal, or in the popular beer garden out back. The beer garden is always my area of choice, always filled with an interesting bunch.

Once again, this is a pub that I had rarely visited namely because I never really came down this side of the city.
