Theb Warren is a realtor at John Daughterty. She lives in on my street in a townhouse with 2 large dogs. These dogs bark loudly consistently. She has been asked by several neighbors to have some compassion and do something about these animals. The police have been at her house to sight her for the noise violations, a lady was caught off guard walking past her house and fell down as the dogs lunged at her. Her next door neighbor is selling her condo..Wonder why? As a realtor you would think she would be concerned or try to be a good neighbor. Why would anyone use her to as a realtor . How would you like to live next door to excessive noise? She does not seem to care about being considerate and I am surprised John Daugherty would have this kind of person on staff. read more

I was relocating to the Houston area for work and was given two companies to choose from. Not knowing anything about either one, I chose John Daugherty based on some of the information on their web site. If I were to do it again, I would definitely choose another realtor. Not knowing the area, and having limited time to find a house, I was hoping to get a little information about the neighborhoods we were looking at. Instead, I was rushed from house to house, with only two matching the criteria I was looking for. I could go into the details, but I just felt like they were to busy to work with me. They were unable or unwilling to answer many of my questions. One reason I choose them is because they listed on their website that they will help you find temporary housing if needed. I asked my realtor about housing, and he said he would get me some information. Not hearing from him, I asked again. I asked a third time and was told to just check with AirBnB. he said that is what most people use. Not being from the area, I needed help finding out how to contact the local utility companies. They were not able to give me information on who to contact for gas and electric. In my previous experience, the realtors always provided a list of contact numbers for local utilities. John Daugherty couldn't even provide them when asked. I just felt they had little interest in helping me. Maybe it was because I was going through relocation and their commission is reduced. No that I really needed one, but I never even go a "thank you for choosing John Daugherty" after the sale was complete. I have always received some token gift from realtors when I used them before. John Daugherty completed the sale, but I didn't feel that there was any personal service offered. If you know the area and know the house you want, they may be able to help. If you want personal service, I would look elsewhere. I will not be using them for future sales and purchases. read more

She listens and validates your property needs (no matter how impossible they may be in this hot market) and sends thoughtful search results that meet your most important needs. My 2 roommates and I have been house hunting for several weeks when we came across a listing that Amy was listed on. She was so inconsistent and hard to get ahold of, certainly not anyone that cares about helping anyone find a home. Not once did Amy return any of my phone calls or voicemails. Finally one roommate was able to set up an appointment via email - but only at Amy's convenience, heaven forbid anyone need to view a house after normal working hours. Despite our terrible experience with the realtor, we absolutely loved the house and were prepared to apply, pay, and move in within 2 weeks. Before we could turn off the street we get an email that they have just leased the home to a quick move in. I completely feel that Amy was unprofessional and inconsistent. I recently contacted John Daugherty Realtors as my husband and I will be relocating to the Houston area within the next few weeks. We have never been to Houston so we were interested in rental properties within the loop and suburban areas outside of it as well. I spoke with Amy Dupont on the phone and she was very nice although when I told her we were open to several areas her response was "yea, everyone always says they are. You need to narrow it down to one area or we will spend the whole day driving around". We agreed that I'd reach out to her the following week before I came into town and narrow down the areas we were interested in. I emailed her promptly the following week and included an area within the loop. Her response was that something unfortunate had come up and she could no longer show us anything. I replied asking if perhaps there was another agent that could assist us and her response: "Unforunately, no. The other 2 leasing agents work inside the loop only." Apparently she did not bother to read through my email which clearly stated an area within the loop. Although my husband and I are only looking for rentals at the moment which may not generate much commission for a leasing agent, we will be looking to buy down the line.
