From the latest designs in today's fabrics to who ever the hot star is current catch phrase emblazoned on a tee shirt. They had a fairly comprehensive lingerie and makeup section, though they didn't go over a 38G in their sizing. All in all, I wasn't in the mood to shop and that might have coloured my mood, but it's an OK store.

I did my normal prowling around and didn't find much I was interested in in the make up, but I did find a lovely light weight duster in the clothing racks for $14, Up stairs in Home goods, I found myself a set of Nessie Pins (stick pins that form the Loch Ness Monster) a colouring book and a set of tea tins from the UK. Every thing Was Reasonable and came to under 25 pounds when I checked out. Heck I even picked up a luggage scale so I can pack efficiently!

Love the kitchen and homewares section lots of knives, pans etc at good prices, some good ornaments/fancy goods, clocks etc too. Look looking there in my quest for things shabby chic. They sometimes have a good wee selection of pet items. Not all sizes, but if you can find something in your dogs size etc then they are usually a good price. Ginormous selection of mens clothes and accessories!!! Lots of ladies clothes as well, and often some gorgeous prom/fancy dresses. Not so good if you are plus size though as next to nothing suitable which really lets the store down in that respect. Upstairs has a good selection of toys, especially if you are doing your Christmas shopping. Baby section seems to be going downhill since it moved upstairs, it used to have a great selection of bottles, sterilisers, bedding etc but now that has greatly reduced. Dont like the idea of having it upstairs as any ladies with bigger double buggies may not fit in the tiny lift! Should havew kept the mens stuff upstairs like before, imo. Over all i love TK Maxx and have been able to get some bargains on kids shoes before now especially good brands such as hush puppies school shoes etc. One thing that really really annoys me about TK Maxx though is the stupid price labels! They are rediculously fiddly to remove, as they fall apart in tiny bits. Ok maybe its so people dont swap labels in the shop i dunno, but it was VERY annoying to peel them off when wrapping Christmas presents !! Whether they are going for a leisurely walk around Windemere or trekking the Austrian Alps (thats later this year), I know the bulk of their packing will feature Rohan brands. A decent sized shop, within a 5 minute walk from the main car park in Ambleside with very friendly and knowledgable staff. If you need help on whether you need a neckgaitor or scarf, or which base layer would be most appropriate for hiking up Scarfell Pike, then definitely stop off here first!

I really like the shoes but prefer to go to the actual Faith shop in the Lanes Shopping Centre as the range is much bigger there. Upstairs is a menswear department and it seems that my boyfriend has better luck for himself there and always comes away with something. Back in the womenswear department they do a good petite and tall range, and if you want the maternity range you have to order online as this store doesn't carry it. When there is a sale on it can be quite good but definitely get there as soon as it starts otherwise all the good stuff goes. The fitting rooms are huge and have great big mirrors outside and inside the cubicles.

I loved this street and indoor shopping malls, as it is boasts a wide range of stores, which are suitable for me, and I have visited this shopping area nearly too often, and do enjoy browsing through, even they have a great car park area all over the carlisle area. Even there are many great restaurants, cafes, shops, bookstores, clothes stores, mobile phone stores, and everything else. I feels like I can be able to get everything in these streets. Once time my sister have came over to Carlisle to stay with me, and we went out for a day worth of shopping experience, and my sister originally thought it would be rubbish day, but she was amazed on how great the town are, and offers loads of things, and she was overly impressed with the location, and everything else, as it is quite near to the train station, bus stations, and even near to the car parks. She said that she would definitely come back there again. so after a month or so she came back with pocketful of cash! For a shopping experience, I would recommend you come during the good weather, as it is open roofed on the Scotch and English Streets. But if it is raining, and you can go in the glass roof topped mall in the Lanes Centre. It is very conveniently placed and totally near to everything else! Even near to the park, and near to the River Eden, and near to the nightlife as well!

I totally love the Pineapple sportswear and Oasis is fantastic although the outlet is a little small with a limited amount of their clothing. They do a nice range of Wedding dresses which are a lot cheaper than the boutiques and you can buy them off the peg. I also really like their bridesmaid dresses which are great quality. The shop is spread over three floors which are all really accessible with the escalators and there are lifts aswell. The range of perfumes and beauty products is huge and there are often some great batgains on the box sets. I also really like the childrenswear and in particular the Junior J range by Jasper Conran. It seems to wash really well which is great when you have a toddler. The menswear is on the bottom floor and stocks a lot of designer labels and also some surprises such as Cragghoppers which I only noticed the other day. Their Homewares section is really big and again includes items from the designers, although it does seem to be quite expensive and you are paying for the name. The cafe is huge and overlooks the castle which is a really nice view. In store there is also a wedding list service and a free personal shopping service. There are also some toilets located next to the cafe which are always really clean.
