So of course, I was on high alert for those used car salespeople who steer you toward the pricier cars, force you to test-drive them, sweet talk you and then make you feel as if your life will not be worth living without those wheels. Anyway, the guys at Southside Toyota aren't at all pushy and are more than willing to talk through certain features you need whilst remaining in your budget. If you're in the market to buy a pre-loved car, I recommend you ask for Geoffery - he's knowledgeablet, un-pushy and a great guy just to sit down and have a chat to. Having said that, be sure to budget your time as well as your finances; it's easy to get carried away!

Husband needed help with his engine, but was told he would have to pay $1600 just to hook it up to a computer because they had no idea what was wrong. Turned out it was a loose wire, which my husband fixed himself in the end. Then a lady with a car arrived while we were there, who was worried because the lights on her dashboard kept coming on, but because it was close to closing time they weren't interested. And told her to come back Monday, this was Saturday. I told her, my husband would have a quick look, and as it happened her oil was low. Would have taken Holden less than 2 mins to tell her the same. Very very very rude people and the reviews all over Google portray the same.

David Harmer was so easy to deal with. He seemed quite genuine & took the time to clearly explain things to me. They did me a great deal on a 2014 ASX & gave me a good deal on my trade in. I also had dealings with the sales manager & the finance man & all provided friendly & easy interaction. I would definitely recommend them to friends & am glad I gave them a call.
