We recently moved across the country and had to do our entire home search virtually. Matt and…read moreLindsey made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. They truly went above and beyond by recording detailed video walkthroughs of homes and doing FaceTime sessions so we could feel confident about every property we considered. What really stood out was how much time they took to help us understand each neighborhood, including the pros and cons from their honest perspective. They always made us feel like a priority. Matt made the financial side of the process unbelievably easy and was extremely diligent throughout closing. He caught mistakes from the title company that we never would have noticed ourselves, and his attention made us feel much better. Even after closing, Matt and Lindsey continued helping us by connecting us with trustworthy contractors for work on our new home. That level of service and care is rare to find. We are so grateful for everything they did for our family and would absolutely recommend them to anyone buying a home, especially if you're relocating from out of state. When the time comes to sell our house, there's no question we'll be using Matt and Lindsey again!

After 25 years in our home we were unsure what to expect when we decided to sell. Our experience…read morewith Lindsey and Matt was exceptional! They were very clear when explaining the process and coached us through the steps needed to list and sell our home. Communication is definitely one of their many strengths. We always knew exactly what each step of the process would bring. When it came to negotiations, we always felt that they had our best interest in mind - and that we were well represented. I know they were working with many other sellers and buyers but it always felt like we were their primary focus. In the end we were so happy to have such a smooth sale. I highly recommend Lindsey and Matt!

Let me start with the dishonest business practices of the Mortgage Center. My mortgage originated…read morewith Zeal CU and was then transferred to the Mortgage Center. The management of my escrow and payments from the Mortgage center started failing making tax payments (2024). This followed by threatening letters of seizure of my Home. After bringing it to the attention of a "competent person" I was informed the Mortgage Center fouled up and would pay the missing bills along with late charges and penalties. So as I'm thinking everything is resolved the Mortgage Center sends me a new monthly charge (to take effect 2025) that added $330 dollars to my payment. OBVIOUSLY TO PAY THE CHARGES THE MORTGAGE CENTER CLAIMED RESPONIBILTY FOR. After multiple attempts I reached someone "competent person" with the Mortgage Center and was informed I was in fact being overcharged and she would correct it. Nothing changed!!! now its 2025 and the Mortgage Center continually sends me notice they did not receive my insurance providers info. So I continually send (via email) the info they requested. As did the Arlington Agency who is my underwriter for insurance. Finally letter from The Mortgage Center stated they want my agent to send them the policy (which they had already done due to the fact the escrow is responsible for payment. I contacted my agent who then informs me that my Home owners policy was not paid and had lapsed because of nonpayment from The Mortgage Centers control of my funds!!!! I paid the bill on the spot for the year because obviously The Mortgage Center is incompetent. All of the sudden my ACH payments are failing to take place, with late charges being accrued. My payments never failed before I contacted the BBB and The Michigan State attorney about the Mortgage Centers abuse of my funds!!! They now claim that because they did not pay (via escrow) my Home Owners policy and it lapsed, they were charging me for insurance they placed. It's really weird that I was informed of the new larger payment in 2024 and they did not pay Feb. 2025 my Home Owners policy. Impossible for them to know the future nonpayment (via the mortgage centers control of escrow) that they should charge me for what did not happen yet/

With the exception of one employee, Bobbie H., all other contact with the "Customer Care Team" was horrible. I had to deal with 3 separate divisions of the company, who do NOT communicate with each other. All communication is done via mail, so it took months to finally finalize the mortgage account. I received a check from the house inurance company that was made out to the owner AND to Freedom Mortgage. I mailed Freedom this check in the amount of $60,000 in March. I paid off the mortgage in May and this inconsiderate, "I could care less about your issues" company took 3 full weeks AFTER the mortgage was paid off to get the $60,000 back to me. In the meantime, I had to call everyday, and got a different response each day. To my mind, this is completely unacceptable! If you have a choice - do NOT choose this company to handle your mortgage needs.

I spoke with SUSANA J MIKOLAIZIK who asked if I was going to rebuild my house or cash out. I informed her my account clearly states house is repaired, she assured me that should would over night my insurance check to me (was to be delivered on the 15th of last month) since I have already been waiting for 3 months. We are now on day 4 of the check not being sent out, and conveniently can't get a hold of her to find out why every step has taken at least a week to complete. She does not respond to emails that are sent to her apparently she doesn't even open the emails. I sent her the same documents that she requested 4x.
