I retained John Vos to help me with a strategic bankruptcy to save my home while I attempted to get a loan modification. I gave him an initial payment with the balance to be paid over 5 years. The bankruptcy was dismissed after the first year. I immediately began receiving multiple harassing phone calls each day and on weekends to pay the balance due (40 to 50 calls and messages over a few weeks, filling up my voice mailbox). His tone was often sarcastic and unpleasant. While he invested little time and offered few helpful suggestions on my case, he invested a great deal more time and effort trying to collect the balance due.
