Companies with less of a service ethic wouldn't have taken the time to have a product manager call me back to discuss the problem before insisting on scheduling a service call, but Matthew at Fischer called me back and addressed my concerns!! We are recent converts to Fischer, and truly appreciate the way this company treats their customers. No upselling or unnecessary charges, and they're just nice people!!! 10/10 would recommend!!

I had the pleasure of working with Seth, Mike and Jeremy to get a 3 zone Mitubishi minisplit…read moreinstalled in an apartment downtown. Out of the 3 bids that I received: - One company refused to install a 3 zone due to the complexity of the job. - Another quoted me double what Fischer did for a 3 zone, and recommended that I install a two zone instead, greatly reducing the work needing to be done. - Seth was able to design a good solution and give me a fair price. My install required cutting through a significant amount of drywall, which is something generally not handled by HVAC installers. I was worried about the question of how much it would cost to repair the damage. The drywallers I reached out to would only give me quotes after the work was finished. Seth once again beat expectations by reaching out to Fischer Restoration and managed to get me a quote in advance of the HVAC install being done. Finally it came to the install. Cutting sheetrock (especially ceilings) is messy business, but Fischer Restoration sealed everything off and left the place spotless when they were finally finished. Jeremy and Mike installed the Mitsubishi minisplit over the course of 4 days. Just like the drywallers, Jeremy and Mike left the place spotless at the end of each day. Naturally we ran into a few issues once the walls were cut open, but both were quick to solve problems and suggest alternate solutions. It was clear that these two take great pride in their work. I'm incredibly happy with the entire experience with dealing with Fischer, and I'd insist that you get them your business!

These are absolutely my go tos for heating, cooling and electrical. I first worked with the team at…read moreEnergyWorks in 2021 when they installed radiant floors, a new boiler and HRV system, and updated the wiring in my house during a remodel. They came recommended by my General Contractor and were super easy to work with. Rich geeked out with me about heat pumps vs. boilers, and made great recommendations for what we should do. James and Tompall, the lead electrician and hvac/plumbing folks were always friendly, easy to work with, and did a wonderful job. There were a couple of issues at the end of the project. The heat distribution in the flooring wasn't perfect on the first pass, and an electrical circuit needed to be rewired. But as someone who works in construction, I judge contractors not by the issues - because there are always issues - by how they deal with them when they come up. In this case, Tompall and James both came out and fixed the issues within 24 hours of me calling. And in the case of the radiant heating, there were a couple of trials and errors, but we ultimately got the distribution just as we wanted it, and Tompall was an absolute gem to work with. When we needed a minisplit tune up (an old one that had come with the house), they set up an appointment, came out as scheduled and serviced it, and it's been running great since. So, when I decided that my biggest mistake in 2021 was not installing A/C on our first floor, I called Rich. He gave me a well priced quote for a new minisplit, walked me through all potential locations, sent me a few quotes when I asked for revisions, and then, scheduled everything once I was ready. I was told it would take 3 days to install the minisplit, plus another small exhaust vent in a different room. Their team of 4 showed up today and did it all in one (long) day. Plus, they cleaned up after so I didn't have a dusty mess on my hands. And now, in the middle of a heat wave, I am sitting pretty in my cool house knowing that I got great service, a great price, and if I need anything, they'll be there to help.

So I requested the "second" appointment which they said they can't guarantee the timing of arrival. I told them I am not available after 2pm due to needing to then get my son from school/other activities. Was warned it was a 60-90 min appointment. So tech would have to be here by 1230. 9/28 was my initial appointment. I cleared my garage and the space around my tank, sent pictures, and waited at/near home constantly by my phone for me to get a text about an "emergency situation" at 12:20. I cancelled and rescheduled for the following Monday (the only day I have free) for the "second" appointment again because I'm only available from 9-2. 10/5 attempt number 2. Morning comes and goes and I got the same exact text, copied and pasted from before about an "emergency situation" that arose. I texted them back and told them I was no longer interested after not being able to be accommodated twice and having my time wasted. I was then called and texted multiple times in a short span around 12:45 saying they magically had someone available. I told them it's already too late and the tech wouldn't be done with the flush before I need to leave. I told them clearly on the phone I am going to look for a different company and they continued to tell me they wanted me to reschedule. I finally told her that I was done with the conversation, to have a nice day and hung up on her because she was NOT getting it. All in all pretty terrible experience/scheduling on their part. This is for a very short and routine appointment too so I can't imagine if I actually needed help in a timely manner.
