Ken met with us personally to discuss what we wanted and he offered many excellent suggestions that we hadn't thought of. On our wedding day he arrived at the venue early and took literally thousands of photographs of the preparations, ceremony, and reception. He sent us the pictures in a timely manner so we could choose which ones we wanted for the high quality book he created. Once the photos were chosen he touched them up where needed to make them look even better. Finally, his price was very, very reasonable. We highly recommend In Focus Photography and Video for your photos and video needs! Thank you, Ken!!!

I just had Liz do our family portraits recently with our newly turned 1 year old on her birthday…read more We had so much fun and the pictures turned out...AMAZING. I've known Liz for 15 years and know she's an expert in her technical abilities of editing photos having been a design major at UCLA. She is extremely creative and artistic, and has had tons of experience as a wedding photographer. She's a perfectionist and will touch up photos over and over again until they're perfect. We also appreciated Timon. He is great with kids & was able to get my toddler to warm up and smile! Having 2 shooters ensured all those fabulous moments and quick smiles were captured! Liz is absolutely sweet, gentle, and easy-going; Timon is affable and warm! They'll both make you feel comfortable right away which of course make for great pictures! But don't just take my word for it. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say so check out their website to see the amazing work for yourself. The colors are vibrant and the style is just *wonderful*. I'll gladly get more photos taken again in the future and would highly recommend Liz Wan Photography to anyone.

I got so lucky to have found Liz and her husband, Timon (especially with so little effort)! Liz and Timon were patient, dedicated, fun, kind and cool. If you care about the kind of spirit and energy in a person, you will appreciate Timon and Liz. Not only do they posess the artistic skill and creativity that I envisioned, but these are the type of people who go above and beyond the normal scope of duty. These two will climb, jump, kneel, hike, rough the terrain, or do whatever it takes to get that special shot for you. I wanted to take some casual engagement style photos at a very specific location that was difficult to access. Liz and Timon did not complain about the ridiculous physical effort that was necessary to get my shots. In fact, they seemed to enjoy the challenge! The photography was one of the few wedding things that I really cared about. I held my breath until I got the photo proofs. I was thrilled and relieved when I saw that they captured those little special moments and nuances of the day. I can't wait until the next time that I can call Liz and Timon to document another special day or time in my life Thank you, Liz Wang Photography. Can't wait to call you again!

On top of that, they were willing to stay a little later to take pictures for us with our guests! My husband and I were floored by their attitude! I'm usually self-conscious when it comes to taking pictures, but i did get great direction from Vince and Ed (his other photographer before Carla was able to make it), which made the experience less nerve wrecking. After seeing all the pictures from the engagement shoot, i had total trust in Vince's direction for what husband and I should do during our photo shoot. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, he's a wonderful friend and person to know. Our family and friends didn't even realize he was our photographer. He blended right in. He captured every moment we could have dreamed of and was so easy going. He went above and beyond from the very first moment we met him for the engagement photos to the actual wedding. We loved his work so much that we flew from DC to LA for the engagement shots and then had his team with us in Turks & Caicos. He shot our pre-wedding day celebrations (even without pre-planning them with him). His artistic touch is really what differentiates him from the other photographers. It's a very intimate, natural, and in-the moment look that is edgy and cool. The wedding album is to DIE for. The best thing was that we didn't even have to pick out the photos. We had over 1,500 photos and he told the best story that we could have imagined. I wish we lived closer to Ray to have him capture our other life moments but don't worry - we'll be flying back to LA to ask for his creative services as our family grows. Ray and his team were so professional; being on-time and super prepared for every moment. They scouted the island, the venue, and everything in between to ensure we got the best light and shot. We are really so lucky that we met Ray and don't regret selecting him as our photographer. If you get a chance to work and meet him, I highly recommend it. Best ever!! We love him!

But if I don't, the photographs I received would be enough to remind my future self of the love that was shared that day. It was filled with every type of love imaginable; that between a husband and wife, friend-to-friend, father-to-daughter, or mother-to-son. To say the least, Ray Soemarsono does not just capture photographs. He captures emotions. He captured our joy, apprehension, and anticipation through still frames of our goofy smiles, tears, and worried facial expressions. He was there, sharing in every bit of it. This is not your typical, posed wedding photography. I can look at every picture and am brought back to exactly how I felt at the moment it was captured. They will remain some of my favorite photographs ever taken!
