Staff were friendly and the interior is just what you'd expect from a local pizza place on a main street in a small town. On top of the pizza box was a copy of a local flyer that was a nice bit of local reading. The wings were fresh and tasted great prepared medium buffalo-style. However, they definitely weren't medium spice which was a bit disappointing. It might be the water in Okeechobee, but the pizza crust was dense. I suspect the cheese and pepperoni were of low quality, and the fresh garlic likely came from a jar. Overall, the pizza wasn't special and definitely wasn't worth the price. If you want to try just a slice or two, make sure to arrive before 4pm, because they only sell whole pizzas after that time. read more

Joey's Supreme Pizza - Pizza with Pepperoni, Green Pepper, and Garlic - Pizza Near Me - Okeechobee, Florida

When you walk into Joey's Supreme Pizza in Okeechobee, it feels like stepping into a local favorite where pizza, wings, and good vibes rule the table. The space is casual and welcoming, perfect for a family meal, a game-day hangout, or just when you're craving a serious slice. We ordered a little bit of everything--because why not? The mozzarella sticks were golden, crispy, and came with that classic marinara dunk. The jalapeño poppers had the perfect crunch with just the right kick of heat. Then came the wings--juicy, saucy, and downright addictive (BBQ and teriyaki both hit the spot). But the real star? The pizza and stromboli. The pizza came out loaded with toppings, gooey cheese stretching with every bite, and a crust that held up like a champ. The stromboli was stuffed with melty cheese, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, and pepperoni--every bite a flavor-packed punch that makes you close your eyes and go yes. Joey's feels like one of those places that doesn't need to be fancy--it's just good food, good portions, and fair prices. Exactly what a neighborhood pizza spot should be. If you find yourself in Okeechobee, don't skip this place. read more

We've really enjoyed going to this restaurant. We've ordered pizza and we have ordered calzones. The full calzone is enough for both of us to have two full meals. It is huge! We ordered side, salads and garlic rolls. All was delicious. The waiters and waitresses all move around like a beehive. They all have their jobs and they get them done. My grandkids really enjoyed getting to watch them through the pizza dough around. We will definitely be back. read more

Good pizza and salad. The slices are on the smaller side so you'll need 3 if you order by the slice. The place is roomy and clean. read more

Joey's Supreme Pizza - Pizza by the slice - Pizza Near Me - Okeechobee, Florida

My husband was craving pizza and being new to Okeechobee we thought we try this place. The place reminds be of my home town pizza joint. The place looked clean and service was pretty quick. We order a large with half his stuff, half mine. The crust was crisp, thin but not to thin, it was a perfect thin for eating without everything falling off when you picked it up. The sauce was nice and not to much, to much sauce makes pizza soggy, nice amount of toppings. Over all it was a good place but we will try others because it was not perfect, a touch to salty for us. But if you're looking for a pizza joint don't hesitate to stop, you won't be disappointed. read more

Joey's USED to be the place to go! I come from Indiantown to pick up this food and EVERY damn time our order is wrong. 4 times now!!! A simple sorry does not cut it. Past couple times we went in to eat the service was horrible too. If you don't want to work just say that! So disappointing when the food has the potential to be good. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I thought I'd give it a try.Since the new owners got decent reviews, my last experience was awful. This was not great. Order the stromboli. Menu says pepperoni sausage, green pepper, onion, mushrooms and cheese. I requested no meat, no green pepper and asked to substitute the spinach instead. We all know the meat is more expensive in spinach, so they're ahead. They charged me for the spinach, which was perhaps maybe a tablespoon, mushrooms were canned. What kind of restaurant serves canned mushrooms? It was disgusting. Bottom was soggy ! Canned mushrooms ruined it. Also observed a server picking lemon up with bare hands with obviously she bites her nails and placing it on a glass, then, takes the ice scoop, and instead of just using the handle places. Her fingers inside the scoop. Obviously there was no hand washing prior as I was standing there. Watching then through the ice scoop back into the ice machine. Very unsanitary. read more

I have been coming here for years and was happy when the new ownership came in and freshened up. However, that's about all they did. The service is awful. Erica is the only good server there. The other girls are snotty, don't ever check if you need anything, are rude on the phone. It took an hour to get a dinner salad, eggplant parm and a cheese steak sub and we had to get up to get a refill on our drinks. The sub was so overcooked it was like beef jerky, the eggplant was buried under mozzarella cheese so you couldn't taste it and the side of spaghetti was ice cold. I don't usually write reviews, but this is terrible. I will go down the street to Regal Pizza read more

Haven't been back for 4 years when the $19.99 cheese pie 20 wing daily special went to $23.99 and it was dirtier than Brantley's junkyard. Well, the daily special is now $33.99, add $2 more for our topping. In my return, the restaurant was clean, both in the dining room and behind the counter. Our food was cooked well; the pizza sauce was very good. However, when ever any Goodbread is involved with something, it is inevitable they will fail and disappoint. If Brad puts the adult beverages down, we may actually have Joey's back. read more

This is a second review for me for Joey's. We were very pleased with the pizza so decided to try the hot subs and calzone. We ordered the cheesesteak and veal parm sub. The veal was good as was the steak however very small for the price. Additionally the ratio between the bread and meat was wrong. Way too much bread. We also ordered the calzone, which was at best just ok. It was soggy and lacked any flavor. The sauce that it came with was very sweet. I think we will just stick with the well done pizza. read more

The pizza took 25 minutes to make it to my table. I do compliment them for having anchovies. The peppers & onions were good. There was way too much sauce. The pizza had an odd aftertaste. I ate half the pie and refused to take the rest with me. It have have been an off night, I'll try them again. They do an incredible business, very busy. read more

We were driving from Orlando to Miami and were super hungry and craving pizza. We googled pizza nearby and Joey's supreme Pizza popped up! We were not sure about the place when we parked, can look sketchy but to our surprise the pizza was SOO good! We had the mozzarella sicks and a 18" pizza. My only disappointment is the mushrooms, they used cans one vs. fresh ones but overall really good! read more

Local family owned Italian restaurant. It's small, even though they have expanded. They have a busy takeout business and the tables are set up to accommodate large parties as well as couples. It's loud due to the heavy traffic (people), but you can still enjoy it. The pizza is the best in okeechobee, and the rest of the menu is good as well. There competition is mostly corporate chains, but there's also a couple of small pizza places. We have tried them all and think this is the best. read more

The best pizza shop in Okeechobee...not my first time here but always my first choice if I want Italian in this town. Food is always fresh and tasty. The servers and some behind the counter are always pleasant and friendly. Went in for a late dinner mid week closing hours 10pm we got there a little after 9:30pm and were still served with a smile. The chicken wings are pretty big here and the pizza is always well cooked crust is not too thick, just right! I also had the eggplant rolatini- not pictured but was also full of flavor and yummy. The garlic knots here are so delicious. Will always return back if craving some fresh pizza. Menu has many options even to a simple cheeseburger. Daily specials are offered for lunch and dinner. Quality and quantity of food and pricing go well together. Good little view from the windows into the town of Okeechobee. read more

Pizza is usually very good. One time is was a little salty. But it is the only pizza place we go too.

Food is always yummy!!!!! Service is a little slow sometimes only Because it gets pretty full. Definitely family friendly.

Awesome pizza, fast and great service. Pizza was great, and not expensive. I'd guess it's the best pizza in Okeechobee. Worth a stop.

I've been eating here for years and since the new owners have taken over it has gone down hill. My past 3 orders have all had something wrong. It's a shame as this was the best pizza restaurant in Okeechobee. Until they get their act together I will not eat here again! read more

The food is amazing but service can definitely use some work. Same story 3 times. The food is some of the best Italian I've ever had, but service is slow, or just confused. One evening our waiter changed 3 times and 2 didn't know who's table it was. . read more

Had a chance to pick up a pizza here for lunch. Was not expecting much. Wanted local pizza and not franchise brand pizza so that's why we decided on this location. We were glad we did. Pizza was delicious. We got the Supreme. Lots of stuff on it and lots of flavor. 1) Place was clean and welcoming. 2) Person who took the to go order was friendly. 3) Pizza was delicious. Fresh tasting, dough was perfect. Crust was crunchy and just right. I would return to this location next time I'm in the mood for pizza and in the area. Please give it a try. My pizza was delicious. I hope yours will be as well. Good luck! read more

This is a hit or miss location. When it is good...god this is good. The pizza is perfectly crispy on the bottom and soft and greasy and everything good. But when it is bad.... it's bad... I think my main issue stems from the lack of focus at the delivery process. 9/10 my delivery order is incorrect...or cold...or missing a $2.50 side of ranch. Again, when it's good...it's so good. They just need to focus and invest in a better process to insure accuracy and a timely delivery. This is me speaking very highly considering I got food poisoning from a meatball here last month. read more

Joey's Pizza has always been consistent. My family always get 1 large pizza and 10 wings. That or the Cheesesteak Supreme. We hired Joey's Supreme Pizza to cater for our wedding. We were very satisfied with the customer service we received from Jenny (She's the best) and Mike (dedicated to delivering quality food). Our guests enjoyed the food - the food compliments were endless. Communication throughout the planning was really great - they took initiative in communicating with our venue- making the dinner service as smooth as possible. We would choose Joey's Supreme Pizza over and over. I love the pizza. The crust is outstanding. It's more expensive than others, but it is good. It's only the second place I've dealt with that offers garlic on pizza. read more

I haven't had the pizza but the antipasto salad was horrible. The cherry peppers were old and soggy. The meat consisted of ham, turkey, and roast beef which is more like a chef salad. The dressing was store bought. I believe that if you are going to offer salads, as a restaurant owner you should make your own dressing and also make sure your veggies are fresh. Won't be back and I don't eat much pizza. The cleanliness of the place was extremely questionable as well. read more

Old staple of Okeechobee, excellent food and awesome employees. Come for the pizza, wings and beer

It's says it's open but it's closed on Tuesdays. Wasted our time. But that's ok. I guess!

Overall not too shabby. If you come from NY please don't have your expectations too high for the pizza but it isn't terrible. I definitely have had a lot worse. Now I am very pleasantly surprised by the wings. Good size and they are deep fried. They do say they toss them but I would definitely ask for extra sauce. Service was great and I did feel like I was home for a little bit dinning inside this pizza joint. Well worth a stop if you are in need of your pizza fix for this area particular area of Florida. read more
