This guy is only interested in d-list music artists and swindling people out of money…read more Had a contract for our wedding, promised he would be there in person for hosting and DJ services. At the last minute he gave us a "deal" for a videographer but wanted the $600 ASAP. He did not show, Joey subcontracted some idiots who didn't speak English or have a translator on site, they didn't show up until the last minute with the wrong song list, the "videographer" was one of the dj's with a digital slr on video mode.. Without a tripod. Soo we listened to music we didn't ask for, had a Spanish speaking host pronounce all of our names wrong, had green and red f'ing disco lights at a historic elegant setting, and produced a video 6-months after our wedding that my 5 year old cousin could have done with a smart phone between his butt cheeks. Our close friend stepped in to host (un-paid), our coordinator basically took over the music, and we asked for a refund on the video since it was shaky, poorly edited (if you can call it that), and didn't include parts of the wedding he said it would include. Almost 2 years later he still hasn't produced a better video or the refund. Just awful. I can't believe this guy stays in business. STAY AWAY FROM J-LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. He'll just keep sweet talking you until you give up and stop bugging him.

Long overdue review!…read more THANK YOU SAL AND EVERYONE AT BLISS EVENTS GROUP! My wife and I got married at the darling hotel on 12/12/24, and I think we booked Sal (officially) a few months before the wedding after previously talking with him months before. Even with the short time crunch, Sal had us covered! He gave us very easy forms to fill out with the songs we wanted, when to play them, which songs we absolutely had to play, what not to play etc. Sal took the time to get us on the phone and for the first 30 minutes, he just wanted to get to know us! Asked for our story, what we did for work, etc. and vice versa! We got to know him as well which made everything fit perfectly as time went on! my wife and I had some trouble figuring out songs for some of the formalities like father daughter dance, and some of the walk outs for the wedding party, but Sal was able to nail it with his suggestions after getting to know us a little better! The day of the wedding came and Sal was ON POINT with everything! Sal isn't just any ordinary wedding DJ that goes through the motions of hitting play and making announcements.. He literally goes above and beyond, making everything flow effortlessly without any awkward in between moments, and the fact that we had gotten to know each other.. it was like having a family member DJ the wedding! Also: Our baby girl was 7 months old during our wedding, and we had misplaced her baby formula. Sal over heard what was going on and offered to call his contacts in town to go pick up baby formula for our daughter if we needed so we wouldn't have to worry about it. We ended up finding the formula, but TELL ME WHO WOULD DO THAT?! SAL IS F'N AWESOME FOR THAT! Hands down, bliss events group knows what they're doing. Never once did I ever feel like I had to worry about the DJ being on que or if they were going to be properly prepared. If I ever need a DJ in the future for any type of event, I'm definitely going with bliss events group and would refer them to anyone. Lastly: They are busy! Sal mentioned he was booked almost EVERY DAY in December and we are so grateful that he made time for our wedding. We didn't get a call back right away, but keep in mind.. A BUSY DJ IS A GOOD DJ! Vibes were always on point and the transitions between the multiple genres/cultures was flawless. He also helped keep the entire night on schedule and was quick to adjust to the party's mood. He put a lot of though into planning the night out and was extremely professional. He was our absolute favorite vendor to work with throughout the wedding process and we can't recommend him highly enough!
