There is a wide variety of fresh produce and the usual essentials that you need. As with all smaller Tescos, the prices are slightly inflated but then you are paying for the convenience of it being on your doorstep. They also sell a small range of magazines and also lunch snack meals such as sandwiches and wraps, also other items which are ideal for workers in the town centre and busy parents looking for a quick lunch. The stock levels always seem to be very good whenever I have visited the store and they sell many of the offers shown in the bigger Tesco's stores. Considering this is only a small Tesco's I feel it puts some of the larger stores to shame. There seems to be plenty of room in the store for pushchairs.

However, the staff are always friendly, and do try their best to help. The store has plenty of room to shop at your leisure and ease, and it never gets overly warm in there. The prices are relatively cheaper than other shops, which makes it easy to pick up a cheap meal or snack.

It often gets very busy, however it is fully staffed which means that queues remain fairly low. With a large carpark and located next to a big retail park, it is an excellent place to do your grocery, DIY and electrical shopping.

I find it excellent value for money on the top named brands and often do my 'staple' shop here. There is all you need really in a small space and its a 'quick' shop. It can sometimes look a bit dirty but I think its just getting old and tierd looking now. Upstairs the restaurant had a makeover not so long ago and is an excellent place to park the hubbie and children whilst you shop!

If you are in the town centre, it isn't as convenient as Morrisons, but when you are driving and want to avoid the centre of town, this is convenient. My only complaint... when I go shopping, I prefer to go at times when the store isn't very busy (I like to avoid supermarket rage...), but then many of the shelves are bare. However, I do love that they have an ATM (because you cannot use a non-chip and pin card in the self-checkout line) and they also have a dry cleaning service which is quick and fairly cheap. However, be careful as the floors are slick... can't tell you how many times I have come close to eating floor.
