The Co-op is a great medium-sized store to pick up any groceries that you need. They also have an instore Deli so you know that you are buying fresh. They stock a wide range of alcohol and also have a large freezer section. For it being a store in quite a small town, it does sell electrical appliances like washing machines and vacuum cleaners so it would save you travelling further for the bigger items.
