You're cheating yourself not to. Having recently moved to the area, I tried a few other places prior to my appt at Westcott. No other shop around here even comes close to the atmosphere, attention to detail, or finished product I got at Westcott Barbershop. Doug gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever received, and I'll be a customer, moving forward. Update: I've been going to see Doug for close to two years now. He immediately knew my hair to a T. Doug is intuitive and observant. My angles and preference are perfectly stored in his muscle memory. He needn't ask me how I like this or how I prefer that. We'll chat instead about pretty much anything. I swear he understands my hair's growth so well that everyday between visits is like a new haircut. He's that good, and my cut seems to grow in proportionately rather than "grow out." His cuts age like wine. It's magic. Westcott has the kind of vibe that can turn my week around in 45 minutes.

Haircut was only $15, which is less than half of the prices other barbers nearby list on their websites. Granted, this is an old-school barber who's just doing basic haircuts, nothing fancy like fades or coloring or whatever, but that's OK because a basic haircut is all I needed. Barber was friendly and conversational, haircut was done in about 20 minutes, if that. However, he did say he's semi-retired so he's only working about 2-3 days a week now and another barber comes in one day a week, so the hours are a bit spotty.
