Both my boys received exceptional cuts from barbers we knew and I got mine done by a barber who was new to me, and he did a great job too! I was pleased to sample a PBR while we waited, while one of my sons played the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game with another young man. Great conversation and outstanding service resulted in handsome tips all around! We'll be back and will recommend the new location to others whenever we can!

I've been traveling across the US for the last 6 weeks visiting all the IG worthy spots between San Francisco and NYC, and I was definitely needing to be cleaned up. He listened to what I wanted, and was receptive to pictures of my usual haircut, and I was lined up, and beard trimmed 15 minutes later!! Very impressive. This is cash only but there is an ATM if you came unprepared. This shop is downtown and sorta close to the college, and is neatly kept with a sports wall recognizing many of the biggest names like Jordan, Tyson, and Ali. When I found out some of the guys that used to work at the Shoppingtown Barber Shop were starting their own place, I was excited. The new location is beautiful with new chairs, wooden supply areas, and a nice cooler for bottles of water and the like. The guys also started selling their own hair products, and I can happily report their paste hair gel is excellent. Cuts are still $15 which also gets you a warm shave of your neck/ear area. They also offer a beard shave or trimming which I believe costs a little extra. Give these guys a look - they are in the Guitar Center Plaza if you're having trouble finding them based on the address.

Doug gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever received, and I'll be a customer, moving forward. Update: I've been going to see Doug for close to two years now. He immediately knew my hair to a T. Doug is intuitive and observant. My angles and preference are perfectly stored in his muscle memory. He needn't ask me how I like this or how I prefer that. We'll chat instead about pretty much anything. I swear he understands my hair's growth so well that everyday between visits is like a new haircut. He's that good, and my cut seems to grow in proportionately rather than "grow out." His cuts age like wine. It's magic. Westcott has the kind of vibe that can turn my week around in 45 minutes.
