My hair was down to my collar, and Sue took great care of me. She was professional, welcoming, and very accommodating. I walked out actually looking and feeling like a new man, which doesn't happen often these days. The entire staff was friendly and made the experience relaxed and comfortable. The shop itself has a strong sports theme, which I really enjoyed--especially since my favorite team, the Wolverines, were front and center. There are a couple of TVs in front of you while the barbers work, plus easygoing conversation that makes the time fly by. I've been to places that slap the word "barbershop" on the door and think posters and attitude make up for skill. DB's proves that a real barbershop is about knowing how to cut hair, keeping up with current styles, and treating customers right. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last.

The shop is super nice, very welcoming and relaxed, and they take really good care of you while you're there. I got home afterward and realized that one of the things I wanted done didn't actually look how I thought it would. I hit up the store on FB and they were happy to squeeze me in the next day and get it changed to my liking, even though it was my mistake and not theirs!

Walking in it took me back to when I was a kid. As I sat down and waited my turn I looked around and saw an old school barbershop with antlers hanging on the wall and a wood stove heating the place. In terms of the haircut, it is just as I remembered pre hairdresser and chain haircut places. Natale is a skilled barber who employs the scissors, clippers, and straight razor to make sure that your hair, beard, eyebrows, and neckline is taken care of before you leave. He is a 1 chair barber so day and time will dictate how long you wait. This will be my new barber moving forward.
