Dr. Gallagher was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. He is incredibly busy as he runs his own practice by himself and is single handedly responsible for all of his patients, so my regular appointments were brief and somewhat rushed, however; I completely understood. I don't know how he manages to balance all the work and still maintain the wonderful quality of service; he's the "superman" of doctors. Aside from that, he also agreed to accept VA health care as payment so that I was able to use him as a physician, which means that he received less than what he would have received from regular insurance. He really does care about his patients. I had been to the hospital on three separate occasions for early labor (each time was either late after hours or on the weekend) and he was always there making sure that myself and the baby were okay. He takes every precaution to make sure you and your baby are healthy. He watches you like a hawk and makes you feel safe. When I was in labor, he checked on me frequently and was there in plenty of time to deliver the baby. He helped me through the delivery with words of encouragement and was incredibly patient and friendly. He talked to me as baby was coming and kept me informed; which I believe is very important. He also ensured that I was comfortable and that I knew what was going on every step of the way. If I decide to have another child, I will definitely return to Dr. Gallagher and will recommend that my family and friends do the same. He really made my pregnancy as smooth as it could be and I give him a lot of credit for the healthy delivery of my beautiful baby boy.
