She's patient, attentive, and truly listens--making sure you're comfortable every step of the way while still being incredibly thorough. Once you've had a cleaning with her, it's hard to imagine going to anyone else. Jean at the front desk is equally wonderful--professional, welcoming, and always makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Today I also met Sasha, who was kind, compassionate, and very attentive throughout the visit. Consistency like this is hard to come by, and it's what keeps me coming back year after year. Another great visit.

They're dishonest and look for things you don't have in order to charge you exorbitant prices. I came here to get my teeth treated. The dentist seemed hesitant in his diagnosis, and the hygienist was even worse. I don't have the best teeth, but I do maintain good daily hygiene. The hygienist recommended a deep cleaning because I had tartar and plaque. The cleaning cost $795. Then the supposed budget coordinator arrived, and the treatment for my teeth would cost $12,185. At another place in the same area, the treatment would have cost me $5,533. Even so, I paid half the cleaning, $395, to start, and they only cleaned half of my mouth, on the right side, both upper and lower. During the week, I got two second opinions from other dentists and called dental insurance companies and plans. The result: I have no plaque, no tartar, and a cleaning wasn't necessary right now. I had a broken tooth, and these dishonest people at Gentle Dental wanted to put a crown on me for $3,050. The other two dentists recommended the following: you have 70% of your tooth still good; it's best to preserve it by getting a filling that, with care, will last and keep part of your natural tooth. Think a thousand times before going to Gentle Dental. I recommend Corbin Dental Bayside. I do not remember the doctor's name, but he was very kind. He explained everything to me clearly and spoke very politely. However, I did feel that the treatment itself was not very gentle. This is my first time using dental services here in the United States, and I noticed a big difference compared to the country I come from. The injection to numb the area felt very rough to me. Also, when they had to place the plastic pieces on both sides to isolate the tooth, the way they handled my face and removed everything felt very forceful and lacking delicacy. Still, the doctor himself was kind in the way he communicated. At the end of the appointment, I needed to make my payment. The doctor's assistant told me in English something like, "I'll bring you to the receptionist," but I misunderstood and thought she meant she would bring the receptionist to me. Since I did not fully understand the phrase, I politely asked, "Sorry, should I stay here?" Her reaction made me feel very uncomfortable. She rolled her eyes and directed me in a very dismissive and rude manner. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, especially because English is not my first language, but I felt disrespected by the way I was treated in that moment. This is a paid service, and patients deserve to be treated with kindness and patience. I would also like to mention that the receptionist who helped me with the payment was extremely kind and professional. My only complaint is regarding the attitude of the assistant who escorted me around noon to 12:30 p.m. on May 8th. Unfortunately, I do not know her name, but I wanted to share how unpleasant that interaction felt.

The problem was because of the broken tooth, and the shape of it that had to be removed. In addition, other spots that I had missing teeth were also points I wanted to be fixed too. So some had to be removed too I knew they needed this and decided to ask for that work as well. Well I will tell you this- when the teeth were removed. I didn't even know what happened. There was no pain. There was no worrisome pressure when It was done. They said that I might have pain/discomfort and maybe some blood and black and blue later(it wasn't that much blood to begin with when it was all happening. Those are standard things told to patients that have teeth removal- .HOWEVER!! there was no pain I barely felt any pressure at all. Blood was very minimal. Never had any problem with pain, black and blue or they need for any kind of pain medicine anytime afterward as well. It was amazing, if it weren't for the fact that I had the empty spaces I would never know I had them removed. They did an amazing job!! everybody in the office is so really nice, as well and very gracious, knowledgeable, and treat you well. They make you feel welcome. When I. came in for the impressions for it, I was amazed at how they did it!! They used state of the art computer scanning tool and did an electronic 360° recording of my mouth and sent it in. There was no nasty mouthful of some sort of nasty gook that you have to hold in your mouth for a while until the mold is created (this by the way was how the mold from my other plate was made by the other dentist ) later, when the teeth came in and I put them in my mouth. It was like night and day compared to the last plate that I had. These teeth plate fit perfect! absolutely perfect!!... so much better than the last set done by another dentist. They look better as well.( including more realistic looking.). I would never go back to any other dentist and look forward to my continued going to Dr. Bram and his crew!! I wish I could give more like 10 stars. My many many thanks to Dr. Bram and all his highly qualified dentist colleagues, as well as all of the office super specialist for was such an amazing experience at the dentist.

After reading its outstanding 5-star Google reviews, my wife decided to give Crown Dental Arts a try--even without an appointment. From the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean, welcoming office, the friendly staff, and the professionalism of the dentists. First, the office is spotless, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. Every staff member was courteous, attentive, and efficient. From scheduling appointments to explaining our insurance coverage and treatment options, the entire process was smooth, organized, and stress-free. Second, it was obvious that the office values patients' time and does not overbook appointments. Although there were two patients ahead of me and two after me, no one waited more than 15 minutes. Even more impressive, my wife came in as a walk-in patient requiring a core buildup and an onlay. Despite her unexpected visit, the staff and dentist graciously accommodated her and had her in the examination room within just 15 minutes of arrival--a level of efficiency and patient care that is truly rare. Finally, the dentist and staff were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in explaining my wife's dental condition, recommended treatment, and insurance coverage. They answered every question with care and never made us feel rushed. Most importantly, the entire procedure was incredibly smooth. We left feeling confident that we had received outstanding dental care and are actually looking forward to our next visit. Overall, I highly recommend Crown Dental Arts. 10/10!

Yes, their office is gorgeous and straight out of Architectural Digest, and the staff is fawning, like overly needy friends (the word "Stepford" comes to mind) -- until the deal is closed. I went to Center for Smiles when my previous dentist, Dr. Kuncio, sold her practice to him. He turned out to be the opposite of Dr. Kuncio, who was honest and straightforward, and very mindful of what her patients could afford. To my knowledge, none of her staff who went to work at Center for Smiles is still employed there. Indeed, there seemed to be a high turnover of staff at Center for Smiles in the 15 months I was a patient there. Some highlights: 1. Vidya Sartorious, the office manager, collected $6,000 from Care Credit on my behalf when only $1,100 worth of work had been done. 2. Failed to file for preauthorization with my denta; insurance, as promised, so my claim was denied. 3. Vidya Sartorious (at the behest of Dr. Rallis) tried to rush me into completing this work, and pushed up demands for MORE money, directly contradicting Dr. Rallis' prior verbal agreements with me. 3. Dr. Rallis did not listen to my concerns, and failed to reconsider his treatment plan for a $23K bridge, even after I repeatedly expressed doubt because of underlying infections and pain in the affected teeth. ("We can take care of that infection afterwards, with an apicoectomy." But first we will put a $23K 10-tooth bridge on top? Umm,no.) 4. After I appealed to Care Credit, Dr. Rallis claimed to have done an additional $1645 worth of work, which, if true, was done without my knowledge, permission, or consent. I expressly withdrew my consent that very day, before this work was done, until my insurance preauthorization was worked out. I did not and would not have given permission for this work. I only agreed to a temporary bridge. 5. Did not file with my insurance company for this additional work, either, although it would have been denied for failure to get a preauthorization, the issue I confronted them with that very day. 6. Has yet to send me a copy of my x-rays after several months, and refused delivery of my second, certified mail request. This is just the tip of the iceberg of this very unfortunate experience, with further legal action pending.

At first, I checked out a dental group out on LI, and was quoted very high (expensive!) for a procedure that would have been time consuming (over the course of several weeks). I was hesitant to move forward, and wanted a second opinion. I remembered that my old dentist recommended Dr. Rallis, so I went for a second opinion. I am glad I did! I realized that my retiring dentist recommendation had a lot of merit. Dr. Rallis is a valued professional, thorough, caring, and his staff is very comforting and put me at ease. He and his team reviewed the procedure, explained to me everything, and I was quoted significantly less, and the time frame was much shorter to get it done. I opted to use Dr. Rallis, and I am very happy that I did. It was very high quality, and a great experience. I recommend him without hesitation to all friends and family.
