Took up a job with my hot water heater that another plumber defrauded me on. Pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Let me start…read moreby saying that I was so excited when Earl informed me that I could receive same day service. I sent pictures, discussed the process, pricing, and even what to expect and how others prepare once the water was turned off. The men arrived on time, they were greeted and then proceeded to tackle the four hour project. After removing my system, I was presented with price gouging ...$350!! I was informed that the pipes would have to be replaced because my system was corroded! During this conversation, I noticed that the *meter was still in place!! Earl informed me that the *meter would be removed and reinstalled in order to get to the water heater out of the space; I was remembering that it wasn't removed with the prior installation. After sending multiple pictures, giving the year that my home was built, and believing I was dealing with exceptional professionals, I was not expecting any surprises. After being presented with an unexpected fee, I called Earl and he didn't take responsibility for not informing me that there could be a chance that the condition of my pipes could be an issue ... at this point I'm remembering to breath and just asking Jesus to take the wheel!! "Supply and install new manufacture required expansion tank and relief valve vent tube" was included in the initial proposal. Looking at the before and after pics, the condition of my pipes was not an oversight! Please be careful and request an itemized statement with the proposal b/c Earl informed me that b.c the *meter was not removed, I received a credit and only owed an additional $100 ...what a shame. Thank you to the men who did the work and left my home spotless!! Blessings.

He claimed to have spoken with my tenant, understood the issue, and could come later that day for an inspection. He stated clearly that there would be a flat rate inspection fee of $59.95, as advertised and above message sent to me via your Yelp page. I provided my credit card number based on that agreement and waited for updates. By 8 PM, I had received no call. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. I hereby put you on formal notice of the following: Your advertising and initial representations were deceptive and constitute fraud; You intentionally avoided contacting the cardholder at the time of visit under the pretense of it being too late; You charged a significantly higher amount without authorization; No actual repair was performed since the water was still leaking. and I have written statements, messages, and screenshots from multiple tenants to confirm this. You are instructed to cease all informal contact attempts with me or any associated parties. This matter will be resolved solely through formal and lawful means. If you believe you have a legitimate claim, you are entitled to pursue it through legal channels--as am I. All further communication from my side will be documented and may be used in future legal or consumer protection actions.

There was an initial mixup about the appointment time, but that was soon sorted, and Saul contacted me prior to his arrival and arrived on time. Quickly getting to work, he identified the problem with our gas insert. He was able to fix the immediate problem to return it to working order and then explained what was happening and why. He also provided what next steps would be for a more permanent solution. It was a very professional, friendly service call.

The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

I requested service through my home warranty and they dispatched my work order to this company. I received a phone call within 30 mins and informed them of the issue. A technician (Ed) arrived to my house within 2 hours. He was able to stop the leak and light whatever piece needed to be lit (I don't know the correct terminology). He explained that it was a temporary fix but my water heater needed to be replaced. He explained the whole process and gave me an estimate of what I could be paying. He ordered the parts needed and I received a call days later saying that they were ready to come back and gave me another estimate (similar to the first amount). I agreed to pay and set my appt. Ed arrived early and worked very quickly. He was so friendly and explained everything to me. The person I spoke to on the phone (I believe it was Dave - I'm not 100% sure...) was also so friendly and was able to take my payment via phone. The level of customer service this company has displayed has been incredible. I would definitely recommend this company to others!!!!!!

When the neighbor's leak started, the HOA sent a plumber to look at the plumbing of the nearby homes. He looked at the water heater and immediately said it's leaking and the water was set way too high at installation, over 160 degrees when the water temperature is not supposed to go over 120 degrees. This put my young son and I at risk of being scaled. He advised me to call Dave and Sons back to make them aware of the damage to the other garage and it being due to the water heater leaking. I called Dave and Sons at least 5 times, emailed at least 5 times and sent a certified letter. No response to any attempt to make contact. Not even a "No we aren't coming back because..." Totally unprofessional, dismissive and clearly improperly trained workers. Now I am responsible for the costs of the neighbor's repairs and still have an unrepaired water heater. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I see that they only reply to the few positive reviews so I doubt they will reply, just like my other attempts to reach them. They have been reported to the BBB as well. ZERO STARS!
