Saw an Audi a6 on DoneDeal around May 2025, contacted Noel, something was off from speaking to him…read more I went against my gut because I liked the car. He became a bit more polite the second time I spoke to him as I discussed a car I wanted to trade against the Audi he had up. He told me he moved back from Canada and hes starting up a used car business. I can see a negative review here from over 1 year ago... I also couldnt find any "ND Motors" on Google, no website existed. When I mentioned it to him he said I am only getting back into selling cars. Seemed a little strange but liked the car and went ahead to arrange a viewing. Arranged to view it and said I was travelling to Dublin so 2 birds 1 stone... the morning I was to meet him before I set off, he said the car wont start. He said he has a mechanic coming to look at it, and he will call me at 2pm, this was at 8am. No call at 2pm. Called him, he rejected my call. Called at 4pm, rejected it again. Texted him, he read it and didnt reply. Noel started ignoring me. He eventually responded to say im with my kids. Called him the next day as I was interested to know the issue with the car. Still ignoring me. Cancelled my call again. He eventually texted me to say the car wont be ready until next week but wouldnt say what the problem was. I said I would wait but when I asked him about the issue, he then blocked my number.

I'd like to express my extreme disappointment at the service I've received from Linders since I…read morebought my ZS EV a little over a year ago. I've had to cancel a family holiday the day we were to leave when the car completely shut down (on a full charge), a year to the day since I picked it up from the dealers. The dealer spent days testing and also running the first service it before telling me there was nothing wrong and I must have left the lights on to run down the 12v battery. Three weeks later the same thing occurred. Back to the dealer and another round of testing before they found the issue - the 12v battery needs to be replaced!! Why was this not found when they did the original test and full service? Injury was compounded by insult when I was told that the 12v battery has only one year warranty on it and because I reported the problem a few days over a year since I paid for the car, I would need to pay for the replacement. €210 for the new battery + €200 for the service + towing fees, taxis and time off work and a grand total of €30 offered off the cost by the dealer. They advised there was nothing they could do to cover the battery or reduce the service, but I could contact MG for which they gave me a UK number. The gentleman in MG service UK kindly informed me that they do not cover the Republic of Ireland and I should contact the dealer Linders. So no way of reaching MG themselves to voice any disapproval or receive any mediation. I asked if the head of the service department could call me back but he never did. Why buy a new car if it's going to have parts fail that are not covered by warranty so soon? Why have a presence in a country if there is no way for your customers to receive service? Very, very disappointing

I had a very bad experience here the other day. Looking for a new car or almost new car I thought…read moreid go here as it's so close. I met with a very pleasant young salespeople who answered all my questions which every person buying a new car should ask especially when considering parting with large amounts of money or months of paying off finance. I even test drove 2 cars. However after test driving the second car the young salesman was busy so I was invited to speak with another older guy. This is when the experience turned sour. He asked a young trainee to sit down and take notes on what commenced as the 'hard sell' . Yes I recognised it straight away for what it was. He asked me if we put the cost aside what is stopping me from buying a car today. Doesn't sound too bad written down but I started to feel pressured and told him that feeling pressured would make me not want to buy. His eyes went hard and his mouth into a thin line and he wouldn't answer anymore questions I had about the difference between pcp finance and regular finance, he was so rude when I left I felt so upset I wanted to smack him. He had the gall to say we'd love to have you as a customer. Never!

I purchased a Jaguar XF on 25-01-2024 for €20,000 -- a huge amount of money for me -- and I made this decision with trust and high hopes. Sadly, the experience has turned into a nightmare. From the very beginning, the AC didn't work properly. I reported it during the warranty period, but they only gave what now seems like a temporary fix. The issue returned within a few months. Then recently, an engine warning light appeared on the dashboard -- a very serious problem. I contacted Ronan, the salesperson who sold me the car, but instead of understanding or supporting me, he simply told me the warranty is over, and I need to pay for repairs myself. On top of that, the service booking was delayed for nearly a month, despite the urgency. When I asked about trading the car, given these issues, he refused to give even an estimated trade-in price. How can I decide anything without knowing the approximate value? What made this experience worse was the way I was spoken to on the phone. While I was trying to express my concerns, Ronan cut the call mid-conversation, not allowing me to finish speaking. I found that incredibly disrespectful and insulting. After spending €20,000, I expected to be treated with basic decency. Instead, I felt completely dismissed and belittled. This isn't just about a faulty car. It's about the way a customer is treated after the sale. I approached them politely and humbly, but received zero help, zero empathy, and zero responsibility from their side. I am now left with a car I can't drive safely, no clear trade-in offer, and no genuine support. I feel cheated, ignored, and emotionally drained. It's devastating to feel like I've thrown away €20,000 of my hard-earned money. To anyone considering Dunne Motors, please be very cautious. In my experience, their focus is only on making the sale, not on supporting the customer afterward. Once your money is paid, you're left alone. I sincerely wish I could give zero stars. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. - Karthikeyan Kuppusamy (KK)
