Got a simple service (oil change etc) and 2 months later failed the NCT stating that there was too much oil in the car. Explained this to Atlas and they gVe a list of invalid reasons, none of which were their fault. Had a look myself and buckets of oil came out. Got a new clutch, left the garage as it was faulty within 20 minutes of driving away Got new suspension shocks and came with a 1 year warranty. They were obviously faulty as 6 months later they were gone again. However, I delayed over the weekend (good matches on the telly) and was beaten by another bargain chaser. I spotted another car, this time in Hollystown (near Ashbourne) and asked Dave to check it out. I met him out there and he gave the car a thorough inspection and recommended buy. This is my second time dealing with Sweeneys Garage on Bridgefoot st. Their treatment of me is exceptional. Ash assessed my problem , and offered to drop me home while the car was repaired. This in itself was incredibly kind. Before he did so he tried something , and fixed it completely , within minutes....and get this, no charge! I actually cried. It is hard moving through this world with a disability, but kindness like this is rare and valuable. I will be recommending Sweeneys garage to all. I finally have a garage I can trust! Thank you Ash !
