It is still lovingly referred to as, "The Hole" in the way that it appears dug into the ground, much like a large crater in the Earth. The stadium seats 19,600 comfortably. The largest attendance in stadium history occurred on September 3rd, 1994 when then-senior and Heisman Trophy candidate, the late, great Steve "Air" McNair brought his "A" game to Grambling. The Tigers contained that explosive Braves offense just enough to pull out an exciting win here at home in front of that huge crowd, 62-56. The person for whom this stadium memorializes and is a namesake, the icon and legendary lifetime Head Coach Eddie G. Robinson also collected his 400th career victory on the turf here after defeating Mississippi Valley State on October 7th, 1995. A tearful Robinson said after the milestone accomplishment, "For a person like me, today has to be a great moment. It could only happen in America."

They have so many resources on campus to make sure you're set up for success. Financially they have so many scholarship and other payment opportunities that I feel like a lot of school don't give. I was able to get scholarships and grants and it really helped me afford college. No only that, but I also felt valued and I felt I got the value of education for what I paid for. At Louisiana Tech, you're not just another "number" on campus, you're truly known as you. I know that sounds cheesy but I genuinely love Louisiana Tech and I hope you're giving the opportunity to as well !
