I appreciate the significance of an HBCU and coach Robinson's sports legacy. However, the campus itself looks sorta burnt out. Parts of it feel downright abandoned. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Louisiana Tech University. They go above and beyond to make…read moresure your needs as a student are met. They have so many resources on campus to make sure you're set up for success. Financially they have so many scholarship and other payment opportunities that I feel like a lot of school don't give. I was able to get scholarships and grants and it really helped me afford college. No only that, but I also felt valued and I felt I got the value of education for what I paid for. At Louisiana Tech, you're not just another "number" on campus, you're truly known as you. I know that sounds cheesy but I genuinely love Louisiana Tech and I hope you're giving the opportunity to as well !

For a rural town such as Athens, Mt. Olive is a surprising gem. This growing educational…read moreinstitution offers many extracurricular activities. These activities include, but are not limited to the following: football, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, music, and theater. The class size is a bit on the small side, meaning the students receive more individual attention. Is that a bad thing? The teachers genuinely love the students and want them to succeed, not only in the classroom, but also in life. The whole curriculum is Bible-based, meaning the students will learn about God in every subject not just a religion class. My kids have a blast in class, but are still learning important concepts. They come home teeming with stories about their day. I am very thankful for Mt. Olive and its ministry. Keep up the great work!!!
