For a rural town such as Athens, Mt. Olive is a surprising gem. This growing educational institution offers many extracurricular activities. These activities include, but are not limited to the following: football, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, music, and theater. The class size is a bit on the small side, meaning the students receive more individual attention. Is that a bad thing? The teachers genuinely love the students and want them to succeed, not only in the classroom, but also in life. The whole curriculum is Bible-based, meaning the students will learn about God in every subject not just a religion class. My kids have a blast in class, but are still learning important concepts. They come home teeming with stories about their day. I am very thankful for Mt. Olive and its ministry. Keep up the great work!!! read more
