I can't thank them enough for how easy they made everything for me. I also appreciate all the last minute changes that they adhered to. Kevin was my go to person and as much as I know I called him he was always patient with me and did everything I asked. They are absolutely wonderful and helped make this time a little less difficult.

I am the executor of her estate, so, therefore, I have been handling her final affairs. Myers Mortuary and Cremation Services retrieved my grandmother's remains on August 30, 2021, and I completed the death certificate worksheet on September 3, 2021. Shortly thereafter, a payment was rendered to the funeral home for cremation. I reached out to the funeral home every week for a status update on my grandmother's final disposition. On September 15, 2021, a staff member from the facility informed me that the death certificate worksheet had to be hand-delivered, and due to Covid, there have been extreme delays with cremations and Vital Statistics. On September 30, 2021, after not getting any real answers from the staff at the funeral home, I decided to contact Novant Healthcare. The Hospice coordinator informed me that a staff member from the funeral home dropped off the death certificate worksheet on September 23, 2021. The Hospice coordinator also informed me that the signed death certificate was not picked up until September 29, 2021. To add further insult to injury, my grandmothers remains were not cremated until October 11, 2021. This is completely unacceptable and has caused immense emotional distress. Their genuine care and concern for people, their experience in this feild, and eye for detail is second to none. What a wonderful staff and owner. No one ever wants to deal with death, but they knew exactly what to ask and what to do to make this process easier for us. They even helped with insurance questions and social security contacts. Nothing was left out and they did a wonderful job. May God bless this business for honoring its customers to the very best of their ability. We asked Hospice if they had any recommendations as to cremation. They mentioned 2 places, Bullock Funeral Home as one. I called them and Mr. Harvin Bullock answered the phone. I explained the situation and he answered all of my questions. I felt an instant connection with him. We talked for a while, never once did I feel he was trying to sell me anything. He was very genuine and sincere. You know how you can smell phony/salesman a mile away. This was not the case here. When my Dad passed, which was very early in the morning (0200). They came out and took possession of him. They were very professional and prompt. When I finally got the chance to meet Mr. Bullock I was reassured as to his genuine and warm personality. We spoke at length with him and his professional staff. I'm a military guy and can sense BS from a mile away. Not here. My family was very comfortable with my Dad being there. They made several personal gestures that weren't expected but very much appreciated. My Dad led an amazing life that ended in his 85th year. He will be missed beyond measure. I just can't stress how much we appreciated the entire experience dealing with them. I would highly recommend them without hesitation. I would rate the whole experience as 10 Stars. It was so refreshing to deal with people who truly care. If you've ever had a bad experience with a funeral home you know what I'm talking about. I guarantee you will have a very positive experience with them. A huge heart felt Thank You to everyone there and especially Mr. Harvin Bullock!! Thank you Sir!!!
