Pull it back, throw in some fake extensions and call it a day. My hair looked VERY promy, but Page redid it and it looked good for about an hour. Before we left for the wedding, the bride herself was fixing my hair that was falling down. But, let me start at the beginning... Page and her make-up partner, Cindy, arrived on time and set up. I, as well as the bride, had been in contact with Page several times and MONTHS before the wedding. When they arrived they both said they were "expecting" more people to get their make-up done. WHY? I have no idea. So, while I was getting my hair done, Cindy complained out loud that she had other appointments that she needed to get to. We booked them for the wedding... she should have been there for when we and the people who were getting their make-up done needed her. I also reminded them that NO ONE wanted air brush. Apparently, Cindy only does air brush make-up. This should have been brought up in the beginning. But, it was just another thing for Cindy to complain about. When the bride arrived, I decided that I would suck it up and get my eyes done so Cindy would stop complaining and giving everyone dirty looks because she was "sitting around." My eyes cost $35. My eyes water a ton in general (which I warned Cindy about), but she kept packing on the frosted eye shadow. I asked her to stick with the matte colors, but it didn't do much good. Then... came the lashes. And... The lash glue. It was a disaster. She got eye lash glue all over the place. When she said she was done, I went into the bathroom and saw one lash on crooked and the other eye with make-up running down my face since my eyes were stinging. So, I took everything off and started over myself. Then, we had to pay Cindy - who THEN complained that she only took cash and who told us we could pay with a check? I did pay her the $35 and gave her $40 in cash. Seeing that I no longer had my make-up on since she almost blinded me with eye lash glue, I thought she would offer my a discount or to redo them, but took the $40. When I asked her for my change, she said she didn't have any and had to ask Page for some. (Page did offer to redo my lashes, but at that point, we had to be getting dressed for the wedding.) Overall, Page was great... the price was right and she was very sweet, but if you want modern and messy up-dos, she's probably not your girl. Cindy, isn't anyone's girl. She was just unpleasant the whole day.

I live in Scottsdale, AZ and planned my wedding out of state in Santa Barbara, CA. I had my bachelorette party in Santa Barbara in May which was when I met Kristi for the first time. I have very difficult hair to style in that it won't curl easily at all and falls flat quickly. I mentioned to Kristi that I had a styling tool that works really well but I didn't have on me. Therefore, Kristi went out and purchased the styling tool between our 2nd hair trial and my wedding to make sure my hair would be beautiful and last. On my wedding day Kristi only set out to do my hair ( I did my makeup because I used to be a makeup artist and prefer to do it myself) as well as my mother and mother in-laws. Somehow, my mom and mother in-law talked her into putting lashes on them as well which she did happily. Kristi gave me the beautiful old-hollywoods style I wanted and my hair lasted the entire night. It actually lasted the next day and a half as well. She is exactly the type of person you want around you on your wedding day. She has a calming energy and is very sweet. Long-story made short, through payments made in person and Venmo for the hair trial and wedding, I had unknowingly overpaid her $200 (easy to do in the chaos of multiple vendor payments on the day of).
