They are always friend and helpful - the ladies who cut the fabric are amazing and always make it fun.

This review is written to let consumers know not to use the services of Deacon Willie Whiteside of…read moreThe Stitch Maker business in Madison, TN. His services are not of a professional standard for a professional upholsterer. I sat outside his home for 45 minutes in the cold January 26. He lied saying he didn't know I was out there. I knocked so many times on the front door, the back door, and his business door behind his house, his wife finally heard me. I called his phone multiple times from the driveway to leave voicemails. I text him two days in advance to tell him when I was arriving. I went to professional work rooms in middle TN and Kentucky to show them Deacon Willie Whiteside's work. They've removed his name from all referral lists. I went to fabric stores to show them his work; the owners have removed his name from their referral list. Three attorneys called me saying, report him for fraud, which I'm doing. This demand letter is for you to pay The Williams Family $1,579 by Monday, February 21, via US postal money order for the poor quality of upholstery work. $650 labor Sew-And-Sew Upholstery, Woodbury, TN $150 tacks D.A.D.S. Lee's Decorative, North Carolina $156 plum fabric Perrenials luxury fabric, Dallas, TX $408 neutral fabric Fabric Gallery, Nashville, TN $150 broken leg repair, you tried to repair what you broke $65 gas two days gathering items for chairs December 5, The Williams Family of Murfreesboro hired you to reupholster two Hooker recliners from the Sam Moore Collection. You were provided 20 yards of fabrics, two boxes of DADS nail tacks. Instructions were to use the neutral fabric for both recliners with a 5" plum stripe down the front, center of each recliner. The stripes on the chairs waver back and forth from 3" to more than 5". January 26, 2022 The Williams Family picked up the recliners stating they were not professionally upholstered. You would not release to the chairs unless payment was made; you stated you'd sell them. You failed to disclose you accidentally broke and tried to repair one leg of the chair. Mr. Whiteside, your work can be viewed at the URL below, organized in 24 folders according to topic. https://tinyurl.com/WhitesideWork It would've been appropriate to disclose prior to December 5, your eyesight was compromised, you were scheduled for eye surgery the following week; and, due to decades of upholstery, your fingers could no longer straighten out to allow you to measure straight, cut fabric in a straight line, grab, tuck, fold and sew fabric in a straight line with the accuracy and standards of a professional upholsterer. As you're aware, there's an exorbitant of hot glue throughout the chairs. You didn't even use the existing fabric to make a template to ensure the cushions fit. 163 images are in the folder for your review by topic. Ms. Williams' goal is to not to broadcast the unacceptable work, but to receive payment for the additional expenses she's incurred. This demand letter is for you to pay The Williams Family $1,579, by February 21, via a US postal money order. Thank you for your time Mr. & Mrs. Whiteside and thank you for understanding. We went to Hobby Lobby' today to buy a table top pelican for someone's birthday. I had seen that…read morethe pelican was $16.99 online but it was marked $32.99 in the store. When I went through the checkout, I asked the cashier how much it was figuring she would punch in the code on the ticket and then tell me it was $16.99 Instead she told me "$32.99," I said "did you ring it in ?" and she said, " no it says $32.99". I then said "well online it said it was $16.99". I was almost sure it was but I didn't think of taking my phone out and showing her the app. She said to me," I have worked here a long time and I know my job and those are never on sale". I said very calmly "I didn't ask you how long you've worked here and I didn't say you weren't doing your job correct? All I did was ask you to ring it in to see how much it was" and she said "it's $32 ,99." So I left got in my car looked at the app and it said it was $16.99 which is what I thought. I went in and asked for the manager and the person who came upfront that said they were a manager told me that there was no way the girl could've done anything else but look at the ticket because unfortunately hobby lobby app marks things down but doesn't tell the stores? And here's what I don't get she said the girl couldn't ring it in?? So does that mean they don't keep track of their stock? That makes no sense to me whatsoever. I gave the store 1 stars because I do like hobby lobby. I do like the worship music that plays over the loudspeakers . However, I think they should really get this together somehow /could you imagine if I didn't know that I would've paid $32.99 for something that only cost $16.99. Again I raise the question if they just ring in what the ticket says and don't tell anybody what was bought how do they keep track of their stock??? I would love someone to answer that!!!
