Couldn't even enter the store. An employee rushed to lock the door before closing hours

My friend and I were out looking for a selection of fabrics to make a blanket. This JoAnn store has a huge variety of fabrics and not only that, the employees were so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They all had great attitudes despite us being there until closing time. Rude! Yes, they may have what you need, but the people there are miserable humans! I got some fabric today and the lady snapped at me when I asked he if I could help hold the slippery fabric while she cut it. Not a "No thank you" not a "I'm good." Kathy gave me a "No! You messed it up when you touched it!" O. K. Lady! I left the store with my Christmas spirit depleted and stolen. I love Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts. I used to go to Hobby Lobby, until I heard they are not very pro woman choice, and I never went back sobre-fell in love with Jo-Ann's. They usually have everything I need. And I love their coupons! Love it when they have sales on canvas blocks! read more

Always have loved Jo-Ann's crafts stores and especially their sales!!! Staff is always super friendly!!! And will help you find whatever you need and suggestions!!! This is an awesome store for all your fabric and crafting needs! They have a ton of different fabric material, color, and designs, very difficult to not find what you are looking for. They cut the fabric for you to whatever length you need for your project. The staff is very friendly and will assist you if you are stumped on something. They have great deals at this store all the time, very affordable. read more

Jo-Ann's is an awesome craft store. They have a huge selection of craft supplies. The store is located in a large strip mall. Ironically, it is just a few short doors down from their competitor, Michael's. So, if you can't find what you are looking for here, you are not far from another option to look! Jo-Ann's has a huge selection of fabrics and sewing needs. Sadly, their yarn selection in store has shrunk to about half of what it was 2 years ago. They do, however, offer on-line ordering with free in-store pickup. The store is moderately well maintained, but always looks like it could use a really good deep clean. There is plenty of parking available. They have great sales and their coupon offers are second to none, often 40-60% off regular prices. Definitely worth signing up for their mailing list, e-mail, and text lists to receive the coupon offers! read more

On 04/04/20, I placed an online order for $111.98, to be picked up in store. I did not pick it up in time and it was canceled. I received an email stating that no further action was required on my part and that I would not be charged. A couple of months later, I noticed a standard charge on my credit card and no refund. I disputed this with my credit card and JoAnn responded and the dispute was decided in JoAnn's favor. I contacted the store and they said they could see my order was canceled and advised me to contact the online department. I did so and it took them more than a week to respond to me. Unfortunately, despite sending them my credit card statement, showing a standard charge and receiving confirmation from my credit card company that I WAS charged, this case goes unresolved. JoAnn maintains that I was not charged and it was a "temporary hold". It was NOT A TEMPORARY HOLD - it was a permanent, standard charge. I just keep going in rounds with some rude online customer service representatives. I used to love shopping at JoAnn. Never again will I set foot in any JoAnn store. Be sure to check your credit cards and bank statements. The BBB reveals a long list of complaints similar to mine... charged for a canceled order, never refunded, charged twice, etc. read more

The stores hit and miss. There is times I come here and the staff is super helpful and times I get absolute rudeness. The bad. I came in 20 mn before closing and it was dead. I was treated as though I shouldn't have even walked in the door. A man came up to me and said very forcefully we are closing in 20. Don't take to long. I didn't think much of his attitude because I know that feeling of the last customer. But I wasn't bothering anyone. I was stalked by the last 2 employees, they where so mad I was just looking! I walked out after 5-10 mn. I went with my newborn and my 4 year old. I asked the lady at the counter for help with upholstery. I couldn't findt the tag and they are the really heavy long ones on the back wall. In print it says do not lift get an employee. So I did just that. She snapped on me in front of my kids and wanted me to drag it to her. I couldn't even if I wanted and advised of the sign. She was so pissed and took for ever to come back to help.. I was extremely nice due to me coming here all the time. I came back today with family. I'm attempting to teach how to sew. They spent 1k in the store. Unfortunately they didn't wait for me and I had the coupons. We asked if we could adjust the receipt and got an a$$ full. He wanted us to bring it all back in, which we did. While he was scanning he laid into us. We where told he didn't want to do it and actually said he thought it was ridiculous we came back in to do it. That next time we need to have all coupons ready at check out. After we spent 1k? Really. My family member was shocked and asked of there was any other place I could take her next time to get sewing items. She even received free classes when she bought her machine but said she won't use them after that. It worried her on how she's get treated during a class. The good is on some occasions you can get great knowledge and help with your crafts. The parking is great. The prices are pretty good and comparable to other local sewing/hobby stores. Just be warned that this location is iffy on customer service. Don't expect to much. read more
