The beef dishes were tender and tasty. Nothing extraordinary or innovative on the menu. Just a typical mod Aussie fine dining. My favorite part of the meal, dessert, was ok. Nothing wow! Didn't find many appealing dessert choices. The service was good and if you go during a public holiday, there is a hefty surcharge.

And although we didn't get a chance to partake in their food in the dining room --- we did visit the cellar and had some fantastic wines. The atmosphere along with the friendly/knowledge staff made this one of the best wineries we visited in the area. I realize that everyone has a different palette --- but the stand out wine for me was their slightly carbonated Syrah. It was not only fantastic, but was the most unique wine I tried. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a bottle to return with back to the states.

We were greeted warmly by the excellent Craig and his staff, seated promptly and offered a complimentary cheese platter to accompany our tasting. Although they were busy, we were taken through their full range of wines which included a couple not generally on the tasting list. There was plenty of attention given to allow us to discuss different varieties as there were several Italian grapes that we were not familiar with. As should be the case, there were some that we were not massive fans of, although often not the same wines, some that were lovely and some that were most fans of. No pressure to purchase anything but the quality of several of the wines combined with the excellent and attentive tasting experience saw us walk out with several cases!
