Did a GREAT job on the wedding day, however could have been more organized and proactive in communication before the wedding. The communication unfortunately added a bit of stress/unease before the wedding but the execution the week of and day of the wedding was spot on. **Seriously great job on the wedding day!** We are from Seattle Wa and received Jed's name on a referral list from the venue (in Leavenworth Washington). Jed met us in Wenatchee a year or so before the wedding, however was 20 minutes late to meet us (had forgotten we had scheduled it, but still rushed right over) After some discussion, we did end up deciding to work with Jed even after the late meet up. Originally he said his colleague would DJ. We paid to reserve the date, and got a worksheet to fill out for details and requests. (After we sent in the worksheet, didn't really hear back, but that was fine since it was still well in advance) A month prior to the wedding we checked back in with Jed, and heard that his colleague would no longer be able to DJ, but he would. The change was a little disconcerting, but ok since we had already met Jed. Then we reached out to talk more details but had radio silence for a week or two... even after an attempt to call. when I was about to really freak out the week before the wedding, after 2 more attempts to call him and still hadn't heard back.... he finally got a hold of me. Then from there forward things were smooth sailing and great!! ***very positive ending!*** Day of, he looked very professional, his DJ stand was very clean and professional looking, and he did a great job. Was a perfect MC, played all the songs we requested, and even added in more and kept the dancing going for 2+ hours. Thanks again Jed, you executed very well the day of!!! read more

We initially hired Jed just to dj, so I'll start with that! We got married at the Brown Family Homestead. He's worked there many times so he was comfortable with the venue and definitely knows what he's doing. For the ceremony, everything went smoothly with microphones and music, and overall it was definitely a five star experience. He kept the party going all night! Dance floor was still packed when we had to turn off the music. He was also a great MC. In the planning process, he let us know he also offers the addition of a photo booth. It's called the Magic Mirror, and it was so much fun! If you have the opportunity, book it!! We used it to print and tape pics into a book and have people sign next to them as our guest book. It is operated by a very nice attendant, and had many customization options for the print out. It's hard to explain, but it's not your average photo booth! His props were great and he brought a tent to put it in next to the dance floor. We're still getting compliments on how fun this was! If you can, you won't regret adding this feature!! read more

Jed was fantastic! We had to book very close to the event for a variety of situations and he was so enthusiastic and professional that we knew he was the right choice. On the day of, there were a lot of changes (venue, equipment we thought would be available that wasn't etc) and he was incredibly flexible about adapting to the situation and making it all happen without us even knowing. It was like magic :) We were only able to connect with him via email and once over the phone because of our hectic schedule before the wedding but he absolutely nailed everything. Not only did he deliver on our little-known music requests but he also impressed us with his ability to feel out the crowd and keep the flow all night. At the end of the evening he apologized for not playing more slow songs, but we assured him that what he played had been absolutely perfect for our group of friends and family. Jed and his crew are amazing! Jed DJ'd our wedding at Karma winery and all our guests still rave about how much fun it was!! We did not want the night to end! We hired JMG entertainment to DJ the after-party of our wedding. We worked with Jed leading up to the wedding and he was great in his communication, providing a quote, and gathering information from us for the playlist we wanted to hear played. The DJ (Gemson) did a fantastic job the night of, coming prepared with speakers and a light setup that turned the cabin where our after-party was held into a fun and continuous dance party. We hired Jed for our wedding at Brown Family Homestead on August 13th. Jed was spectacular to work with. Our ceremony & reception were both on site but about 75 yards apart. He came prepared to set up for both parts of the wedding. The sound during the ceremony was perfect. With the ceremony being outside I was nervous about people hearing the music, but it worked out perfectly. During the reception there was not one glitch. The pics worked great, not weird squeak, just music and speeches. My husband and I provided the songs for dancing and dinner and Jed played accordingly. The dancing music was my favorite part. EVERYONE was on the dance floor!!! I thought at one point our wooden dance floor was going to break haha We highly recommend Jed for your wedding or any other event! read more

Jed, owner of JMG Entertainment, DJ'd our wedding (ceremony and reception) - and we could not have been happier! From our initial meet-and-greet to our wedding day Jed was professional, enthusiastic, flexible, had a great (and contagious) attitude, and always provided us with prompt/clear communication. Jed shared that he continues to refine his craft through mixing classes, etc. and it shows - his custom music mix for our wedding was a huge hit and his transitions between songs never let the party dull. Regarding day-of logistics,etc., Jed set-up two DJ stands, one for our outdoor ceremony (winter wedding) and our indoor reception which featured the DJ booth, lights, etc. Jed and his apprentice arrived on-time, quick set-up, and it was clear that his equipment was of exceptional quality. For our ceremony, all of our songs went off without a hitch, great sound quality, and great transitions. And the reception, was more of the same exceptional service. After our first dance, Jed started the dance party with an "anniversary song" to get people on the dance floor. From there, everyone - and I mean family/friends we have never/rarely seen dancing before - was on the dance floor for the rest of the evening, having an incredible time. Throughout the evening, Jed played a great mix of songs favorites, and new ones, that were based off my husband's and my list we provided to him. In fact, everyone had such a great time that we extended our reception for an additional hour. Jed was more than happy to accommodate our request and kept the party going for another hour - making our wedding day truly the best of day of our lives. JMG Entertainment provided the sound systems for both our wedding ceremony and reception, including lighting and mic for the preacher, as well as speakers for everyone to hear at the outdoor ceremony. Jed had a rough go of it with me as a bride! I forgot to send him our play-by-play of the event with times for everything. Luckily, Jed is a true professional and handled it all with stride...and did a fantastic job for us!!! I contacted Jed via e-mail to begin with and he was very attentive, answering all of my questions. When we started getting closer to the wedding, I decided to add a few extra things to my package, and he accommodated all of it without missing a beat. He was really easy to work with...even from a long distance. Normally, brides and grooms are able to meet with their DJ, and I didn't get to meet him until the day of the wedding, but he was professional, had everything done on time and perfect and he kept the music going and fun all night. We hired Jed to DJ our wedding in June. He makes a great MC for the key points in the reception (speeches, cake cutting, etc) and was great to work with for music selection. I'd highly recommend his services for any event. What really set our wedding apart from any others was the Magic Mirror (a modern day photo booth)! It was a fairly new purchase on Jed's part and what a fantastic addition! If you can swing the extra expense, it was worth every penny and then some! Jed has a great selection of props and backgrounds to choose from and the photo customization was a breeze. The DJ and Photographers were the most important people to hire when we were planning our wedding. We researched like crazy and found what we thought was the best DJ in the entire area and possibly state. With that being said, my standards were very high because we have seen so many lame wedding DJs. Jed exceeded our expectations!! Our pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour went perfectly with great music! He stuck to our requests but added amazing songs that really set the tone for our perfect day. When it was time to dance, the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night. We left this entire part up to him, only giving him a few songs we wanted to hear and the ones we didn't. I have never had more fun dancing at a wedding but the best part is, two months later, our friends and family are still talking about our incredible music and fun dance floor! Jed is awesome! He DJ'ed our wedding in November. He is a super nice guy and a great DJ. He played all of our songs exactly when we wanted throughout the entire evening, he kept the dance floor full all night and was very personable when we met with him a couple months before our wedding. He did drop the ball a bit in waiting til the night before to email me to tell me he didn't have two of the songs we needed. I was too busy to be checking my email, so I didn't find out until about an hour before the ceremony, which was stressful. but everyting worked out, so I wouldn't even drop a star because of that. We did have to specially request some slow songs to be played during the reception, so I would maybe just suggest that you make it clear how many slow songs you want to hear. He played slow songs as soon as we asked for them, and the whole event was just seamless, thanks to him. We had so much fun on the dance floor. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. read more
