First, based on product alone, JM4 tactical would be a strong 5 star rating. Their leather work is top notch and their craftsmanship is second to none. I've purchased many holsters through the years, but no others can compare. I plan to buy more from them going forward. During my first ordering process, I would have rated them a strong 5. The whole process was simple and stood out as a great company proving a great product with superior customer service. Recently (last week) I went online to order another holster. I used their tool to verify which size J should order for my revolver. That was easy enough. But, I wanted to make doubly sure before ordering, so I called the store to confirm. The rep told me the same as their website, so I went back online and attempted to complete the order. It seemed to go well, but a few days later the wrong holster showed up at my house. I promptly contacted them for exchange information and waited for the response. Basically, I was instructed to print and complete an exchange form, provide a check for $4.95 for shipping, repackage and sent the holster back. Once they receive and process the return the correct holster will be shipped. Maybe, all of that seems fine to most people. It doesn't bode well with me. I'm still not sure where the error occurred. Was it my mistake or an error in the ordering process online? Regardless, the correct holster should have been offered immediately (and charged to my credit card). They should have offered to then credit my account when the wrong one was processed back at their store. Instead, the rep insinuated the mistake was mine and mine alone. I tried offering some advice including "not charging" the extra $4.95. They did agree to that after I had already shipped the package (including the check and completed form). This really isn't about the chump change; it's about principle. The opportunity existed to make the whole experience smooth in spite of the error. I hope JM4 uses this example to improve their customer service. I definitely support American companies and products made in the USA. I prefer to support small businesses and go out of my way to do so. read more

Ive been carrying for 25 years. I'm a big guy, and over the years, I've spent hundreds$$$ searching for the right holster. I just attended their LTC class. I am over 70 years old and have extremely limited experience with pistols. I have watched numerous You Tube videos prior to taking the class. I found the 4 1/2 hour class room instruction thorough yet not dry. You would have to be asleep to not pass the written exam at the conclusion of the class. We drove to another location for the proficiency shooting portion of the class. I was impressed that they had 2 range masters to watch over 9 shooters. They were helpful and courteous. The 50 rounds required were almost identical as to what I had viewed on the You Tube videos. I would comment that if you are not familiar with your pistol, take their beginners class. I rented a pistol for my exam which turned out to be a 22. Friends told me this was cheating as a 22 has less recoil. Don't believe it. It has enough recoil that you have to deal with it. I paid a small additional fee to help me submit my LTC application to the state to avoid making any errors that could fowl up the process. They arranged my appointment for finger printing for the state. I am impressed with their attention to their students and how thorough they were through the entire process. My only complaint of the entire process, they didn't give me one of their ball caps at the end. read more

I am a LEO and bought my JM4 holster 2 months ago. I am sad to say that, despite the nearly $100.00 price tag, it has been nothing but a problem, to the point where I cannot use it at all. However, my biggest issue, and why I'm writing today, is the customer service, which left me feeling completely disregarded, not cared for and cheated out of my money today. Upon receiving my holster, which was the exact model recommended for my pistol on their website, it did not fit properly out of the package, with the bottom of my gun sticking out of the holster about 1/3 of an inch. This did not sit right with me considering the high price tag and claims of premium quality made by the company. I reached out to customer service, and wound up having to speak to 5-6 different reps over the course of a couple weeks, finally being told that I could not have my money refunded, but that I could ship it to their workshop, at my own expense, to be re-stitched. Having no other choice, I opted to do this. It took about 6 weeks to get my holster back, 3-4 longer than I was initially told. I called customer service every week about it, each time being told it would be shipped by the end of that week. This happened 3 times before it was actually shipped and, I feel like nobody actually knew what was going on with my holster. Now I can understand a delay considering the Covid-19 situation, however, they got my holster back 2 weeks before the outbreak got serious, and nobody seemed to know what was going on with my holster that whole time either. That's a total of 6 weeks with no holster to carry my off-duty weapon. I finally got my holster back a week ago, followed all of the break-in instructions exactly and, to my short-lived excitement it actually fit this time. Then came the next problem, the holster does not allow the gun to draw properly. Every time I try to draw, despite the holster being broken in, the holster itself, remains attached to my gun when I draw it, rendering it useless. I called customer service again. This time I was told I needed to manually insert my gun and draw it from the holster repeatedly, until it "adjusts to the new stitching" and draws properly from the waistband. Fast-forward a week, I have done this several hundred times, and it still rips out of my waistband, completely attached to the gun when I try to draw. I called customer service AGAIN today, asking for a refund for my wasted time and $100.00, this is where it gets good. The rep on the phone put me on hold for about 10 minutes after I thoroughly, politely explained the situation and, when she got back on the line, told me I could not have a refund because they re-stitched it. This was the only fix they offered for the initial product defect and it STILL does not work. I very politely asked to speak to the manager, who had a very rude, disinterested tone and proceeded to parrot what the the rep just told me. I explained that I was not satisfied with this as I am basically being forced to keep a product that was defective from the start and remains defective after they "fixed" it, which cost me S&H, while still maintaining my very respectful composure. She put me on hold while she spoke with the owner about it. About 2 minutes later, she got back on the line and said the exact same thing. The OWNER will not refund my money because they "custom stitched" the defective product I was sold, which is now completely useless thanks to their re-stitching job. I explained that I would be leaving a review about my disappointment, she did not care and our conversation ended. So here I am, a law enforcement officer with no way to carry my off-duty gun safely during a state of emergency thanks to the shoddy work of a company that seems to market themselves as pro-military and law enforcement. I feel cheated and betrayed, they basically, politely told me to screw myself. Here's the best part though, in the midst of writing my review on their Facebook page, it crashed, I lost everything I wrote and now there is no option to leave a review there anymore. This could just be a coincidence, but they know my name, knew I was going to write a review and suddenly, reviews are disabled on their Facebook? Very shady. These people have no business integrity, and do not care about their customers, the law enforcement community or our safety, only money. DO NOT BUY!!! read more

These holsters have the BEST concept I've ever seen. Lightweight, no bulk, and easily taken off or moved around the waistline. I carry a Shield .40 and have fallen in love with carrying again. Kydex scratched my gun, others I tried that weren't kydex were either flimsy and didn't protect the trigger adequately or they would only work with certain outfits. so after reading several good reviews and watching their youtube videos, I decided to support a local shop JM4 Tactical in Abilene, TX and purchased their QCC magnetic holster, it came in less than 3 days from Abilene since I'm in Dallas...I was excited about the holster as I open the box... I have a P320 Carry that I wear around 4-4:30...and with this thing you can "supposed" wear with or without a belt...which I practiced all day for....so the holster will stretch to the shape of my gun... the GOOD: the quality is as they described great leather and soft to the skin, the holster was very comfy to wear at the 3-4:30 and you can easily draw the firearm out...but the good ends about here. the CON: what I found was that it sits super low while it's easy to get your weapon out it the holster it pinch my index and thumb (this I'm guessing will go away as leather gets softer over time) but it prints on my back pocket if I don't wear a x-large shirt or a jacket you can definitely see it, now if I move it up any it prints on the side/back of my shirt (I wear a medium but usually wear Large with iwb and you can't see anything)...2nd the retention was great without my 17rd + 1 ... I did the test like they did in their videos it holds up ok the gun will fall out about half way if you shake it hard! but as soon as I put in the mag...barely shaking it 3-4 times the gun falls out completely...not even adding the 1 in the chamber...I did not feel safe about that. 3rd there is no freaking way you can wear this thing AIWB with a P320 Carry or Compact ... you can NOT sit down b/c it pokes your inner thigh or leg or your privates which I find very disappointing, also if you wear it on the left side as a owb it dragged my pants down just a bit with my 5.11 gun belt... so on I go emailing customer service about my issues they responds fairly fast and was friendly...but the negative is they do not return shipping charge nor provide return shipping label so I'm out about $16 just for trying this holster out for 1 whole day I wish I did the blogger's way just requested this to review but I gave them benefit of doubt and thought I'd be taken care of by customer service but this is expected since they're a local shop and not a corporation basically their response said well you'll get your money back minus the shipping b/c you got it and not our fault it doesn't work your gun and so you have to pay shipping to get it back to us to get your credit back. CONCLUSION: while a great concept, and comfortable to wear and I think it'll work for smaller more concealable guns it did not work for my P320 Carry 9mm I did not find it easily concealable for me and I couldn't wear it AIWB even if it did I don't know if it's truly worth $69.99 plus shipping (cheapest raw hide color other colors costs more) and be prepared to pay shipping if it doesn't work for you. Now it's been shipped back with an expected delivery date of Tuesday which is in 3 days let's see how fast I'll get my refund. read more
