I live in Granbury, TX and I had a very good experience working with All Concrete & Masonry, LLC…read more They did an excellent job building the retaining wall and concrete walkway on my property. Pricing was very competitive compared to other bids I received, and I'm pleased with the result. They were very professional--showed up on time, communicated clearly, and cleaned up after themselves. As you can see in the photos, the result speaks for itself. I'm still finishing up some stone landscaping, so please excuse the mess. Would absolutely use them again.

I was nervous about going with this new company due to my past experience with contractors. My…read moredecision turned out to be a great one! The job was finished ahead of schedule and came in a the price quoted with no additional expenses (I don't like surprises). The crew that came out to work was courteous and was careful to not let any of the cattle out while adding to our existing fence-all gates were closed as requested. Our next project is a privacy fence and I will be giving these guys a call for sure. Update- we just had Godley Fence complete a fence on another property and had another pleasant experience.

OVERALL a decent experience with Couto Homes...with a major caveat. The landscapers they hired…read morewere horrible, and the company didn't seem to care. Before closing on the property we virtually begged them for repairs, and didn't get much improvement. Because we didn't have unlimited time or money to stay in rental housing we were forced to accept the property as it was. You know how when installing sod it's expected that rocks on the ground surface would be removed, and holes and depressions filled in? Then you know more than the landscapers, who left a wildly uneven surface; we're paying for that every day when the rains leave huge puddles and we encounter holes in the yard. When after serious complaining the landscapers were forced to return to do some minor repairs, they scalped the installed turf, did some minor adjustments with the grade of the yard, and then replaced the excavated turf with the SAME turf they had left for weeks piled on the side of the yard--and that turf was now mostly dead. If YOU encountered a depression from a trench in a yard, YOU and I would fill in the dirt in the trough. THAT would be the correct thing, so of course they landscapers didn't do that. That's almost as much fun as playing "find the sprinkler" with sprinkler rotors left buried in the sod. The crowning pieces of bad luck were the two leaky sprinklers. TWICE the landscapers came out and purported to have fixed the problems at the sprinkers themselves, only for us to find the issue was actually an entirely separate valve that needed to be replaced--by a separate contractor at a cost of several hundred dollars for us. Some 'landscape warranty.' It's apparently too much to ask to have a crew of at least ten people who came to install the landscaping to get ONE guy with a metal rake to remove the rocks and boulders before the sod gets laid. Finally: When demonstrating the holes in the yard to a landscape supervisor, he essentially suggested all the holes were put there intentionally by us stepping hard on muddy soil. We are yet to figure out what the point would be of creating a hole only to get it filled in.

NO ONE CALLED OR TEXT! I called NO ANSWER! THEN Jacob called back and said, OH! I seen that you called. Yeah sure! I told him we gad an appt and I wondered why NO ONE showed up. Then if course made excuses of why no one showed this morning. Then said he would send someone out after they get back from Ft. Worth picking up doors. I asked what time he said the drive is in an hour so around 2pm. I sat and waited and waited and still no one showed up. I called back at 3:47pm NO ONE ANSWERED AGAIN. Also available in other areas. Please contact them for more info. This company operates on extremely high principles of quality, service, price, and performance. I doubt there is any other in the area that could be comparable. I have a double car CARPORT which I enclosed 3 sides and added a roll up door. It was installed by a handyman. Total fiasco, and I tried for 2 years to get the door to function. Suffice to say it was a botched job. I found Double M and their reviews were outstanding everywhere I looked. They completely tore out the mess and put up a beautiful 16' roll up door ... that I could not be happier with. Important to say: At first, they worked hard to get the botched door improved. Put in a whole SUNDAY working on it and finally, they said there was NO CHARGE for that day's effort. The 'right thing to do' was to rip it out and install a new one ... ONLY because the original was not the right size to begin with. If it was 'made to work", it just would not be a job they could be satisfied with. NO CHARGE for trying Now that I have the 'right everything', it is attractive, works perfectly, and I could not be happier. The final price was very reasonable, and once the new door became available, they took out the old one and installed the new one in one day. Better track rollers, better tracks, no extension springs (they are actually dangerous) but the much safer torsion bar. This was a nightmare turned into a great outcome ... all thanks to the integrity of Double M.
