We knew this would be a time consuming project and wanted someone that was easy to work with and Felipe proved to be that guy. The entire inside of the home was gutted including the removal of a a wall/pantry area that allowed the kitchen to be completely opened to the rest of the house. Here is a quick summary of what was done: - Brand new kitchen with custom cabinetry - Brand new guest and master bathroom with modern fixtures - Replaced tile and carpet with hardwood floors and added baseboards - Removed a wall in our kitchen to open up the space and make it a open floor plan for the common area - Completely redid our electrical and rewired our house for surround sound and updated light fixtures and switches/outlets - Modernized the outdated and awkward fireplace - Custom built in entertainment center for the family room - Repaired and patched walls where necessary and repainted the interiors - Custom built in office closet for husband so the rest of the room adjoining room can serve as my office The list is really endless. The owner, Felipe and the FDO staff transformed the ideas I captured in my Houzz/Pinterest board into a reality. They were patient to listen to what we want in the house and worked diligently to complete the project in a reasonable time so we could move out of my in-laws and into our own home. We had a very positive experience working with FDO and would definitely hire them again for future small and large projects! Included some before and after photos that I will be posting on my blog. The photos really speak for themselves.

The city issued a stop work order and I had to hire a real licensed contractor to recover the job and pull permits, the project was at a standstill for a month. New floors and drywall were installed in the home after an interior flooding with a pipe break. I had selected tiles for the bathroom floor online since I was out of town during this whole debacle. He alerted me, even though it was what I selected. He sent one of his guys to a flooring store and found a tile that matched perfectly. Most contractors would have just put in the tile I chose but Chad went the extra mile and alerted me to the problem.
