I have written a BBB complaint on you all at your Deerfield Beach, Fl branch - They, Ron Craft Chevrolet 4114 Hwy 10 E, Baytown, TX 77521 & Fidelity Warranty through Courtesy Insurance Company, 350 Jim Moran Blvd... sold me an Extended Warranty for $5,000 that I'm paying off monthly. I got on Dec 1, 2025. They are a rip-off and do not apply the warranty for anything. The first time when the Check Engine Light came on and the truck stopped on the highway, I think in January or February 2026. It's a 2023 Chevrolet Colorado WT. It cost me $1,040.22 for a battery and 2 light bulbs and they would not pay a penny from the Warranty, so I had to pay out of pocket. And for the 2nd time the truck has broken down again, the Check Engine Light came on and the truck was in the shop at the dealership - Aggieland Chevrolet for a week. They say it was a sensor that needed cleaning. Well, guess what? I tried using the Extended Warranty and as last time it was denied again. This time I had to pay $500 out of pocket July 31, 2026. I would like a refund of all the premiums that I have paid in, $2,016.00? Why have a Warranty if it's not going to pay for repairs? Having transportation is a luxury but when you're also undergoing treatment for cancer it's a must. I am concerned the warranty inspection(s) process only patches - not repairs the issue. I still have concerns but can't imagine having to go through this process again. I took my car for service. Found they no longer accept JM&A warranty. CarMax is always booked out ~3 weeks... never accepting appts. Diagnosis: Remove & Replace Wheel Bearing Assembly Called CarMax Service Dept. / they told me a bearing "is considered a wearable part and not covered under my warranty". However they use the NADA retail value not the ACV value and what this company does is adds the remaining balance minus 10% (valued at 90% of the retail value) to what your insurance company pays which your insurance company pays ACV the depreciation value not the retail value. This is how everyone is being screwed over by this unscrupulous organization. There are over 80 complaints to the BBB and they are still in business. Buy your GAP coverage from your local credit union or before you sign for the gap coverage read the contract in full and if you do not understand have the dealer explain it to you. I am in the insurance business and this is by far the worst company and the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. They lack communication skills they are not specific when you ask them the information they need to complete the claim. I received my "settlement" today and boy was I surprised! GAP coverage is just that, it fills the GAP between what you owe and the payout. NOT SO with this company!! I now owe over $4,400 for a totaled vehicle. According to Geico, my insurance company, they valued my car in "retail-ready" condition and did not deduct any deprecation, however, JM&A stated it was 10% below NADA. Odd!!! I entered into a contract within good faith, which my dealership Kia County of Charleston SC said would take care of any out-of-pocket expenses in the event of a total loss, turns out both the dealership and JM&A Group do not honor that statement. Currently I have been trying to help my mother get anyone at all to call her regarding a contract that she had cancelled at a local Honda Dealer when she purchased a new vehicle. The Dealer said she was due 2K refund on the unused contract and then changed that to $1600. Now the dealer said she is not due anything but we have the contract and we know it had a refund but we feel the dealer took the funds and JM&A are simply not willing to cut the check. Because we have filed a complaint with BBB the dealer is now refusing to even return calls and oddly JM&A will not return any calls either to verify if the funds were returned. We have done all we can to get some attention to this and now we are forced to use social media and at next I guess legal action. I had GAP coverage the JM & A Group through my Honda Dealer. My car was totaled. This is the first time I used it. Once my regular insurance company paid their share, the remaining amount of $1328 was referred to them for payment. After waiting a while for them to process the claim, I called them today and they informed me they were not paying ANY of the gap that is remaining. I bought this gap coverage at the dealer when I bought my used car. I paid $895. Slightly less than a year later the car was totaled. The insurance company paid the value of the car which left a gap of over $400. JM&A Group valued the car much higher and paid the gap between their much higher valuation and the balance and so, they paid a whopping $52. They got no information from the insurance company, refused to work with the insurance company. They use their own valuation which the insurance agent handling my claim said was basically using the retail price rather than the actual value of the car. Nightmare. Me and my husband have had the worst experience possible working with this gap insurance company. We had our car totaled back in July thanks to a diesel truck. Our insurance has paid their portion already only leaving about $3,800 left for gap to cover. We have been trying to purchase a new vehicle but the totaled car is still showing on our the credit so we cannot get approved until it is paid off. This is ridiculous and is even further preventing us from getting another car. He left a voicemail, waited a few minutes and called back to find out that they had just closed. JM&A is only paying $791 which leaves me paying $4,300 on a car someone else destroyed. Why did I have this insurance?? Useless. JM&A claims that if you're late even one day on a payment that payment counts in their calculation as deducted from what they will pay out. That is ridiculous and nothing like that is specified in the contract. Further, when I called JM&A, they claim that my "contract" only covers 90% of NADA value. I asked them to send me this contract only to be told they don't have it.
