I checked the normal fixers like GFI's and circuit breakers. I had a hard time finding the main breaker as it was replaced when my dad added solar with the help of a flashlight and the power company I located and reset the main breaker when I turned it back on there was a loud sizzling noise. It didn't sound safe. Based on reviews. I called Eco Electric after hours to evaluate the problem they sent Craig. I didn't know what to expect. I'm always on guard because my mom can't afford to be taken in this bad situation. I was impressed with Craig. He was knowledgeable and professional. He quickly identified the problem he showed and explained that the breaker was moving around. He tried to tighten, but the screws were burnt and stripped he explained they were not tightened properly, which made the electricity arc. He called his office and tried to locate the assembly to secure the breaker due to the age. Parts were not available. We needed a new panel as it was the original over 30 years old. The parts were no longer available and even if they were, we would only be prolonging the inevitable he wrote up an estimate we thought to be fair. He called for an emergency install to the power company and handled all permits and inspections. He then secured the breaker as much as possible, so we had essential power that night and the following day then he came the next morning and he install was complete by 3 PM. The only thing we're waiting on is for the stucco to be replaced which I'm hoping will be soon as some of it is exposed to the elements thank you Craig. It gave me a negative attitude towards the company. The technicians are trained as salesmen and I can clearly see that with the 5 technicians that I have dealt with. HOWEVER , this is a professional outfit and you will pay competitive prices for the great service that you get. My electrical box suddenly was on its last legs. I was set up by the support team and they sent out Andrew who I dealt with before. He was great, isolated the issue and gave me my options. The next day I have a complete electrical box upgrade. Austin who was obviously in charge was mentoring Gabriel. They worked with the inspectors for NV energy, kept me informed and did a really good job. The job was to take 5 to 8 hours but because of NV energy inspectors had other commitments the job took 12 hours. You will pay competitive prices but you will review a solid product in the end.
