They even sell ballet attire in the lobby where there is free tea for everyone to enjoy. The bathroom at the studio is always very clean. They have extra bobby pins and hair ties in the bathroom as well. Love that! So far I've attended about 4 ballet classes. The classes have helped me to improve my posture and walk for pageants. Kelly's ballet class will provide you with a great leg work out as well. As a teacher Kelly provides information on the history of ballet and speaks lots of French. I really enjoy the French. I would recommend this ballet class to adults that want to try something new and are looking for a friendly and inviting environment to do so!

She also made comments about my daughter being in activites all I posted something on a mom group about how she wouldn't let who would be 3 not join a 3 year old class. Another dance school owner said she doesn't have kids the way she treated an innocent 2 yr old it's probably a good thing. Didn't come to the parents instead humiliated a child.

I understand they're preparing for a show, but no one gave us a heads-up that there wouldn't be a real class or that my daughter wouldn't be participating. The director actually told her to let them know when she needs a break. Had I been informed ahead of time, I would've gladly scheduled another day. I was just told to come pick her up at 8:30 pm. Instead, she sat and waited with no explanation, no apology, and no follow-up or offer to come back. My daughter left feeling discouraged and doesn't want to return. That says a lot coming from a child who was initially excited. Based on our experience, I can't recommend Plenty of Rhythm to others. Clear communication and basic professionalism were lacking, and that makes all the difference--especially when working with children.

Our daughter was attending a ballet studio in Bohemia where the classes were big and the teacher was too young (a student herself I'm sure) and unable to control a class full of 6 year olds. So, we stopped going. It's too bad I didn't ask around then because my daughter missed two valuable years. That being said, I emailed the studio (address was on the Web) and I received a response within 48 hours. Svetlana was very friendly and asked that we come in and see how my daughter liked the class. We could then decide if we wanted to continue on. That was a few months ago, well into the year. I could tell instantly that this was the perfect place. Emphasis is on technique but it's not stodgy or stern. This is a serious ballet studio but warm and friendly. The graduation performance was this past week-end and it was excellent. It was not the kind of dance performance/recital that makes you curse the fact that you spent a fortune on a tacky costume, watch bad choreography and wished you had brought something to do while you wait for your kid to perform.
