My enduring memory of this particular building is its lengthy stint as a Pizza Hut restaurant, but it's clearly since changed hands. Now something I've learned about Asian restaurants in my life is to never judge a book by the cover - as in some Asian places are appallingly presented, but have food so good and so cheap that you just don't care! JK almost fits into this category - it certainly is a bit fugly to look at, and the booths from the Pizza Hut days remain so it's got a kinda truck stop diner vibe down. The food by contrast is wonderfully tasty, and they do a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes - two of my favourite Asian cuisines. Unfortunately they don't quite deliver on the 'cheap' part of the Asian restaurant equation - their portions are mammoth, but you do pay a little more than some nearby places and it certainly aint for the ambiance.
