What I thought at first was the cutest jewelry store turned to the worst. I found this place at the market place and thought it was so cute. Plus the employee was sooo sweet! Anyways me and my girlfriends got matching permanent bracelets. We were told the ones we got were solid gold or gold filled. Which is perfect for me as I have very sensitive skin and will break out in hives if the material is not gold, gold filled, platinum, sterling silver, or surgical steel. Anyways loved the bracelet until a day later I break out in hives. And this thing is permanent (literally had to cut it off)!!! And $100.... I have attached photos of my hives and the bracelet that is the culprit. Not to mention, I was traveling from the north east so I was already home and could not go back to make a return or exchange. So I decided to go on their Instagram and message someone to help me for a refund as I just threw this bracelet in the trash. The employee online was so rude and basically told me I literally can't do anything but return it. Meanwhile, my bracelet was already in the trash. Which I told them and they said they still would need it to be returned. Gross!!! At the end of the day, they can keep my money and the bracelet will stay in the trash. What a shame. Please watch out sensitive skin girlies bc these bracelets are not the material they say they are!!! read more

I came across JK designs at the open air market in Charleston and browsed her cute earrings. There was a pair I liked in gold, but I wanted silver. She assured me she would have them ready for me the following day and would text me when complete. Just as she promised, the earrings were ready the following day and she text me in the am to let me know. Super cute designs and good service. read more

It's really hard to find dainty elegant jewlrey for people who don't want to wear either costume jewlrey or their style isn't heavy pieces. My mother has worn their jewlrey for many years and wanted to take me and a friend to this shop in the market to both fix her necklace that she broke from wearing it everyday for years and to get another piece of jewlrey. After finding out about their store just across the street from the market, we ended up buying many pieces, fixing her necklace, and getting our first permanent bracelets! Lizzie helped us so much and sparked all of our creativity in finding the pieces we would individually love! It was great company, the products last for a long time, and you can ask for custom jewelry so you know you are getting your money's worth! Such a great store and will be getting more pieces in the future! read more

This is my absolute favorite jewelry store in Charleston! They have such beautiful, classic pieces with gorgeous stones! I have a necklace and several pairs of earrings that I've bought over the years and the quality is outstanding! I've even stopped by to have custom earrings made for Charleston fashion week- so much fun! When my friends come into town- I always take them to this store. It's a gorgeous space and the stones are so beautiful to look at! I even have a list of pieces in my iPhone notes for future purchases. read more

Pretty shabby customer service. I would have loved to make another necklace with them to replace one that was stolen. It was very special to me and had a beautiful moss aquamarine stone set on a rose gold chain. I called and emailed to no avail. It strikes me as very odd that they would not want return business. This is absolutely the last time I make a point of heading to their stall at the market or their store in Charleston. read more

The jewelry Is handmade and the stones are 100% real I just can't get over the beauty of the different necklaces. I want to credit the employee Amanda because she works hard on her work. She's really good with customer vice and can help you if you have questions. So if you're looking for a nice jewelry store I highly recommend jk designs. read more

I got a ring from JK Designs that I loved, jesica even resized it for me, great service initially and I had plans to go back on my next visit. Unfortunately exactly 2 weeks later my ring broke. Thinking it would be a simple fix I reached out via email asking about the possibility of sending it in for repairs or a replacement considering I had word it for 2 weeks and had done no hard wear and tear. This was a month ago. I never heard back from my email and I still have a broken ring. It seemed like such a personalized feel I was confident that she would offer to fix it but I guess not. Overall I think the products are beautiful but poorly made and not worth the price if they break in 2 weeks. read more

This was our second year, and now a tradition, getting a piece of jewelry from JK Designs.
