    If I could give less than a one I would. Ricoh printer/copier is excellent machine. GFI Digital…read moreservice, through a monthly paid contract, SUCKS! For the second time I am left hanging by this company. The first service call, one out of three in the four years I have made since I purchased the equipment in May 2015, I called and set up a service call for them to be at my office at 9:00 the following morning. No show at 9:00, finally tracked him down early afternoon and he had "decided" to go make another service call before mine; with no notice to me of the change in appointments. WASTED day! The second call, less than a month ago, went relatively smooth with the serviceman showing up when he was supposed to. Although, I did find out while booking the appointment that the serviceman had told his office the first service call was cancelled due to my unavailability! I was AVAILABLE 3/4 of the day waiting on him to show! Third service call was made 02/15/19 and could not be completed because the office was closed due to inclement weather. This equipment is located in our farm office in a rural area and all my equipment is routed through UPS Surge Protectors; hard lesson learned that resulted in the purchase of the Ricoh equipment. The surge protector, provided and serviced by contract through GFI, came with the equipment in May 2015 and had died and I refused to plug it into the outlet without proper protection. Second attempt for a third service call was made 02/16/19 and again resulted in not booking due to GFI office closure. Called a third time 02/18/19 @ 8:02 am, because I had been down for 3 1/2 days, and asked if a new surge protector was available for me to come pick up. A SERVICE CALL was required to get a surge protector. Checked with multiple companies and found this is a way for GFI to be able to charge Ricoh for a service call. Serviceman called at 8:25 am and said he had the surge protector and was in route. I told him we would not be home and the agreement was made to leave the replacement surge protector at our office door. We left to visit our 9 year old Lab who had to have emergency surgery the Friday before and had taken a turn for the worse. We were gone approximately 1 1/2 hours. No surge protector had been delivered. I gave it till 12:10 pm (almost 4 hours after my serviceman said he was in route to deliver and I am less than 30 minutes from his location), before calling the serviceman to see where my surge protector was. I was once again told he had went to a different service call and "MIGHT" be able to deliver it after an additional service call 1 1/2 hours in the opposite direction from my location; 3 hours round trip travel time plus the service call itself. Delivery, IF IT WAS MADE, would be after 4:00 pm. It is 3:53 pm and I am still sitting waiting on delivery of a surge protector I could have driven 35 minutes and picked up before noon. TERRIBLE SERVICE! Was going to go back and total the amount I have paid for service over the last 4 years and NOT used, but it would only make it worse!!!! Ricoh WONDERUFL, GFI Mt Vernon SUCKS!!! I will be contacting both Ricoh and GFI Corporate in the morning!
