Unethical and Fraudulent Business Practice…read more I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unethical, dishonest, and potentially illegal business practices I encountered while dealing with this company. My family and I sought assistance with home repairs specifically roofing, believing that this company would provide the necessary help in a professional and trustworthy manner. Unfortunately, this has not been the case, and I feel compelled to detail the issues we have faced. From the very first interaction with Johana and Carlos the company presented itself as a reliable and supportive service, willing to work with us and our insurance provider to address the needed repairs. However, as the process unfolded, it became clear that there intentions were far from honorable and the attempted to inflate the overall price of our project and obligate us to work with them under threats. We were coerced into signing documentation that assigned all the benefits approved by our insurance company directly to this firm illegally. After extensive research I learned the FL law doesn't allow Contractors to obligate homeowners to sign an Assignment of Benefits for the purpose of protecting homeowners from companies like this. This was done under misleading circumstances, and we were made to feel that our insurance claim would be jeopardized if we did not comply.vWhen we confronted this company regarding these dishonest and unethical practices, Johana the owner responded with hostility, threats of legal action, and an extremely unprofessional demeanor. This aggressive behavior, coupled with the lack of transparency, an amended contract intentionally omitting and withholding information critical to protecting the homeowner's rights and interests. The contract was edited in a way that specifically disadvantages the homeowner by concealing important details and the misleading nature of the business dealings, has caused my family significant distress. Based on these actions, I believe this company is engaging in fraudulent and illegal activities, scamming people out of the insurance payment they get for home repairs, and preying on vulnerable families in need of assistance. Their tactics are not only unethical but also in violation of the law and they have been reported to authorities. When I expressed this to them and advised I was bo longer interested in moving forward with the service they began the legal threats! I demanded them to immediately rectify the situation by releasing us from any unfair contractual obligations and ensuring that we are no longer subject to their company's deceptive practices. Additionally, I expect this formal complaint outlining our experience to be handled appropriately to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future to another family and for this reason I decided to escalate this matter to the appropriate consumer protection agencies, including the Better Business Bureau, the Department of Insurance, and the Office of the Attorney General in addition to all social media platforms. I trust that you will take this review seriously

He removed my old flooring (which cost about $2,000 of labor and materials) and then left the rest of the project unfinished. For over a month he kept telling me he was "waiting on the permit" and that it would be approved any day. Every week it was the same story. Then out of nowhere he texted me saying he was "shutting down his business." When I asked for my refund for the unfinished work, he stopped responding completely and has ignored every message since. I've been left with no floors, no kitchen progress, and a major financial loss. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. I would not recommend this company or Anthony Wishart to anyone.

There are just no words to express the absolute awesomeness that is Oscar and his crew. My partner…read moreand I were looking for a one-stop shop contractor. We interviewed many. Oscar stood out as the most compassionate, the most open to listening, and the most patient. Oscar gave us a full, detailed quote for our project. Laid everything out infront of us so there were no surprises. We wanted to ensure that there was just one person to talk to about this job and that they would do what needed to be done. Oscar was that person. The job came in right on time and under budget. Nothing was done without Oscar checking in with us. Everything that needed a decision would be on hold until Oscar got a thumbs up or down from us. People come to our home now in awe of the difference. We get asked how our experience was with the contractor because people we know who had negative experiences with their contractors wanted to see if we had the same experience. When we tell them not one hiccup, not one issue, they are shocked and amazed. This man is legit. We stand by him and his work 100%, and we are eternally grateful for his professionalism, suggestions, and time to get this project done. Thank you, Oscar and OHS Constructions. Aaron and Joaquin

I found this company via Yelp last year when i was relocating to Orlando from South Florida. I had…read morebought a new house and it needed roof work done before i moved in. I had multiple companies come out and give me pricing and their opinion/recommendations (all three were highly rated on Yelp and google). Tyler came out on the day and time specified, he was communicative, nice and easy to deal with. He really took the time to look at everything, crawled in both attic spaces and outside on my 2 story hip roof and gave me his opinion and photos to support his recommendations and pricing. All 3 companies gave me a different scope of work, however i am in the construction industry and Tylers scope was the most on point and he also listened to what my needs and wants were and kept that in mind when giving me his recommendations. They didnt try and sell me a re-roof (which a lot of companies will even if you dont need it) and I liked this and found them to be honorable in this regard. I found their price to be competitive for a company that is licensed and insured, and the work they did was done well and supervised and checked. What was most important to me was not only the work done, but if any of it failed, what their response would be and how it would be handled. Can i get in touch with them again? Are they responsive after the work was completed? Well, i recently found out. I had 2 leaks this past week that have been getting worse. I was obv upset because i thought it was the roof. I called Tyler, and he told me he would be out the next day to take a look. He came when he said he would, climbed up in the attic and took a good look around, and found that it is my chimney leaking. He made my life easier by referred me to a stucco guy whos coming out this afternoon. I like that they are not pushy, they make me feel well informed as to what they think and WHY via photos, answering all of my questions and very easy to deal with and get in touch with (i hate chasing contractors!) I definitely recommend them, and look forward to our continued relationship. THANK YOU TYLER!!!
