    We are documenting ongoing issues experienced during our tenancy at Block 25 Lofts…read more Prior to move-in, we were told the pet deposit would be $150 per cat ($300 total). Upon move-in, we were charged $300 per cat ($600 total), contradicting prior information. We were originally told the cost of utilities would be about $7 per utility per month equalling to $21 per month. The actual cost of utilities per month is $153.17 per month again giving false and misleading information. At move-in, the unit had multiple unresolved issues: an ant infestation (which we had to address ourselves), a leaking toilet, low batteries in smoke detectors, and a balcony door that does not lock and remains unfixed. Despite requesting that maintenance not enter without permission, we were awakened the next morning by the property manager entering our unit without consent. This was later denied. Due to this, we installed a security camera for safety. We were told electric billing would be handled through management. From September to March, no issues were raised. In March, we were suddenly charged utility fees, two months of electric, and late fees caused by nonpayment, without prior notice. We were also charged a cleaning fee for common areas, which is not our responsibility. While using a paid parking space, my partner was confronted, threatened with a lease violation over "attitude," and treated inappropriately despite attempting to comply. We also received a noise complaint while not home, which management initially insisted was valid until asked to verify. These incidents reflect a pattern of misrepresentation, improper charges, and unfair treatment, creating an environment where we do not feel secure or welcome. I am hoping by writing this that someone else does not endure the same issues we have or that management may work to better their treatment of tenants.

We fought with them for months trying to get an accurate bill and to get an itemized list of everything we need to pay for. There itemized list was unprofessional which took 5-6 emails to even get one and we still didn't receive what we wanted. They had to replace trim and stated on the final move out report to "order extra supplies" which they tried charging us. 4 months we fought with them to get correct information, finally we came to an agreement to wait until everything was replaced and get an accurate bill which was 3k cheaper than the original bill. Which i personally believe they still over charged us for cleaning and replacement costs being they couldn't give us a bill from the lumber company they got their supplies from and charged us over an hour more labor than what was stated on their moveout check list. We were sick and tired of dealing with their collections department we ended up paying it to get them out of our lives. They are rude and have no idea what they are doing. I would and will never rent from this company ever again. Extremely unprofessional and not trustworthy.

    For the past two years we rented from Freedom Homes, under the Property Manager Nick Barlett. Nick…read moreis the best property manager we have ever had the pleasure of renting from. He had excellent timing when it came to our requests for repairs, his open communication was very helpful when we needed his assistance for anything or had questions, and he upheld a high integrity when it came to the lease. He is a very humble businessman and runs his properties with strong responsibility. His maintainence vendors were very respectful of our home and willing to work out time slots for repairs in a timely manner. Our property was kept up to date with maintenance repairs (yearly) and state codes. His empathy was clearly shown during our time of financial stress, when he sent a list of community resources and county assistance programs, plus tips on how to file, to help us out. When our German Shepherd passed away, he sent out a sympathy email and gave the ok to get another dog when we were ready with no additional deposit. We truly cannot thank Nick enough for all of his help and his generosity. This rental property was not a regular rental property; it was our home. We look forward to buying a house for him in the near future.

    Mr. Mark Gettinger helped me in finding a great deal in Minnesota (I am living in the West Coast)…read more He also explained me in detail about the required process and paper work and prepared an offer that helped in competing with other multiple buyers and getting a right price for my new condo purchase. In addition, he communicated with the condo association and provided all required documents for set up the HOA payments on time. Moreover, he suggested to do the Mobile closing ( the notary came to my home for signing the closing paper in the closing date) which saved my time and $$$ money because I did not need to fly to Minnesota just for the closing. Mr.Mark Gettinger has provided an outstanding customer service. He commutated with my Closing company and Lender directly when I needed the information's clarification ( especially, the specific legal terminology). Furthermore, all the paper work and earning money sending were done electronically-it was so easy and accurate as well as saving a lot of my time and energy in this busy life. In Sum, the closing was done on time, and my Lender told me that they were impressed how Mr. Mark Gettinger was able to manage very professionally the condo purchase ( which is required more knowledge and documentation than purchasing a single home) and also for a Buyer who is living in the different state.     Justin and his team were requested to do a home inspection based on a real estate agents request…read more After the inspection the home owner returned to the home and noticed that their sliding glass door latch was in the locked position but the latch looked like it was farther down from the locked position. When they attempted to unlatch the door the latch came right off. The home owner and selling agent both attempted to contact Justin and each received a reply that the door was not broken during the home inspection and refused to pay for the door to be fixed. The door was in fact broken as due to the inspection but paid for by JJ Home Services, LLC.
