Last week,'I called them to see what was going on, they said "o, we had bigger projects that came up, so we weren't able to finish your order." I calmly and politely said. "OK, please let me know when it's ready for me to see." It is now September 2! Really?! So, my order was so insignificant, small, unimportant, that they can't even bother to call me, to tell me! Don't make me wait. Don't tell me you can do it, if you really can't! Because my order is smaller than your other orders, doesn't mean you can set it aside, and I'll wait for months! Unbelievable! O by the way, this order was a gift for a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force, someone who has risk his life over and over for your freedom, so you can be free to make art stained glass! I held my wedding dinner and reception at the Apothecary this summer. It certainly wasn't a cheap…read morevenue to rent but in my opinion it was worth it. They have a special wedding weekend rental where you can rent the loft from Friday afternoon until noon on Sunday. This is what we did and since all of the guests were from out of town it allowed us to have a place for everyone to congregate during the weekend. There are actually two different lofts in the Apothecary--one small, one large. Each has an open area for seating, a kitchen area, and a master suite. We rented the large loft and it held approximately 100 guests comfortably. If you aren't too worried about the comfort of your guests you can probably squeeze in 130 or so. I highly recommend the Apothecary for any special event and Crystal is great to work with!

Love the Lincoln Children's Zoo! I've been visiting regularly since I moved to Nebraska 10 years…read moreago, and it's been so fun to see all the positive changes and improvements over the years. Now having a toddler, this zoo is truly perfect for little ones. Easy to walk, the right size, and packed with activities they can actually enjoy. We stopped by for a couple of hours on Sunday to soak in the beautiful mid-November weather. It wasn't busy, which was great, and we got to see all the animals we were hoping to. The giraffe exhibit is one of my favorites! The staff is always so kind and the grounds are incredibly clean. They already have the Christmas lights up, and wow I was so impressed by how many there were! I'll definitely be coming back at night to see everything lit up during the Zoo Lights experience.
