Had them dig a 100x50 pond and a dam across the backside. Had some challenging moments after hitting a natural underground spring of water but they quickly adjusted and were creative enough to dig a little deeper to get some clay out of the bottom to line the walls with. They did a great job for a very reasonable price. Trying to find a good company to come do dirt work or any kind of work is challenging. You get the guys that come in and bid these crazy high prices then you get the guys that take 2 weeks to come bid a job then another two+ weeks to come do the job. Then when you finally get someone out they do a half .... job and try to charge you for double the hours they actually spent or sub it out and charge you double or triple or more than what it took to get done. I've had my fair share of experiences with different companies from truckers to dirt work guys to landscaping, etc. The Magers Excavation crew came quick to bid the job then were even quicker to get started and finished this huge pond in about 2 days time. Billing was simple and easy to pay online. I mean the whole experience from start to finish was enjoyable and they did a really good job. If you are looking for hard working folks that are going to do a good job and not try to gouge you on price then this is the place for pond digging, pool excavation, pads or any dirt work most likely.
