Some companies also charge extra for steel posts, so that was expected. Our initial quote coordinator handled every request exceptionally well. We asked for many changes throughout the process, and she was always available, patient, and accommodating. Because Superior is such a large company, I believe they benefit from better pricing on materials, which allows them to remain competitive. What really stood out, though, was that their quotes were honest and accurate--no surprises later. One contractor we spoke with gave us an extremely cheap quote, but we had to point out important missing items like the permit. That wasn't the case with Superior. Although Superior uses contractors, they were willing to do something no other company would: build the fence in front of our gas line, even with hand digging. This was very important to us so we wouldn't have to look out our kitchen window at a trailer parked on the side of the house, and it also avoided blocking our neighbor's kitchen window. We were very fortunate with the contractor we got--he was kind, thorough, and did quality work. There were a few minor things that needed adjustment, and the job site manager was knowledgeable and stepped in to make sure everything was corrected. I really appreciated that he wouldn't even have the office send the bill until the job was 100% complete. Another standout moment was how kind the workers were to our kids. My kids love talking to anyone working on the house, and the crew joked with them and treated them warmly. That kindness meant a lot to us. Overall, the entire process went well. We did have some hesitations simply because this was the first fence and gate we've ever installed, but every question we had was answered clearly and professionally. They also have a great referral program, and I would gladly recommend them. The only thing I'd ideally want in the future--since they use contractors--is the ability to request the same crew again, as we had such a great experience with them.

She really listened to my concerns and needs for the fence that I needed. And the entire team that built the fence were amazing - Victor, Edwardo, the owner, Manuel and the young gentlemen who worked along side him. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I appreciate you all and will not hesitate to do business with you again.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents since they're not very confrontational and just…read moreaccepted it. We had our fence done in February and had a few things less than satisfactory. For starters, one of the posts they used was cracked all the way down. Their gates, while looking uniform with the fence, didn't have the bottom section of wire connected to anything aside from the wood above it so our dog (the whole reason for the fence) could push through. We added vertical slats to each gate to secure the wire all the way down. Both gates were also missing screws to secure the top of the handle. A few areas had wire pieces sticking up along whole sections that threatened to stab our dog's paws if he put them on the fence or us if we leaned on it. We had to trim these all off ourselves. Parts of the fence also didn't have the wiring pulled tight so it bubbles out. We re-stapled some sections a little to try and improve this. The builders wanted to connect our fence directly to our neighbors decrepit fence, so instead of a post the wire would have just been stapled to the other fence. My dad was at work so when they told my mom she called him to have him look into it. He called the boss and they decided to add a post at the end instead of attaching it to the neighbors fence. This seemed to bother the builders as they proceeded to give my mom the cold shoulder from then on. I'm not going to say it was retaliatory, but the sections of the fence where the wire isn't pulled as firm were all built after this interaction. Everything before looked great. I'll give benefit of the doubt and say this is a coincidence. Once the fence was finished and we walked it to check it out we found cigarette butts, excess pieces of wire and wood, and dirt piles along the outside of the fence. I've never been part of anything involving a new fence so I don't know what is "normal" but I don't believe the left over pieces should have been left in the open area off our property. We would have happily provided trash cans, even if it was all piled neatly I would have happily thrown it away for them. I was very dissatisfied with this experience and don't plan on using them for any of my potential future needs. I hope my parents get their money's worth for this and it lasts.

This involved meeting contractors and getting estimates from 7 different companies in the area. Alpine Fence is the only company to drop the ball with getting back to me with an estimate. I hate when you try to give companies business and they make it difficult for you. Amanda stopped by on October 16th to gather measurements. She said she'd have the estimate over to me the next day. On the 18th I called into the office and they said they'd have her send it over to me that day. Finally on the 20th, I emailed her directly asking for the estimate and I never heard back. It shouldn't be this difficult to just get an estimate, especially when you've set expectations like this.
