Dr. Tubiolo is a FANTASTIC doctor! My entire family has been seeing him for various needs for…read moreyears! I absolutely love his approach, he's very patient, he listens, and he cares! He is very devoted to his work! A few years ago I was having a nasal issue and went to many ENT's with no answers. I went to Dr. Tubiolo and he had an idea (he thinks out of the box) about how to resolve it, and it absolutely worked, and resolved my issue. He is very kind and hard working, and I feel he runs his practice like doctors did in the "good old days"...he listens, wants to get the bottom of the issue, and always has a fix! He doesn't rush his patients, and he is extremely knowledgeable. I can't sing his praises more!

All was well until I moved out of the area, and this last autumn my nose learned--and didn't like!--the different weeds and pollens. It was time to find a new allergist, and in January the first one I called wasn't able to offer me an initial appointment me until May! I suffered for a while. Then, thank goodness, I found the good Dr. Tubiolo. I've been getting shots now for a couple of months, and couldn't have more praise for the doctor and his staff. I know that next autumn my nose will thank me! Dr. Tubiolo's base is in Santa Barbara, but he comes to Santa Maria once a twice a week.

Dr. Presser Belkin is that rare physician who offers not only comprehensive expertise in her field,…read morebut also ability to see her patients as individual. She is encouraging and she does not give up with complex cases. Overall she is an excellent physician that I would highly recommend.

I went to see Liza Presser Belkin after having multiple episodes of angioedema and…read morehyperpigmentation of my skin without a known cause. We sat and discussed during the first meeting, which seemed fine, and she ordered a few labs. When I saw her the second time, I had done extensive research on the days I had those episodes (four total over a span of years) and I realized, on each of those instances, I had taken a specific one-time medication. I told her about this and that my symptoms were akin to a fixed drug eruption, and she said no, that it was "a red herring," and stated that her conclusion was more likely when she had absolutely no evidence to support it. She also said, if I wanted to be sure, the only way is to retake that one-time medication to see if the same reactions occur. Like are you serious? I left her office and some days after, she sent me a message through the portal to ask something, and I asked her a question in return. A few weeks later, I received a bill from her office. I called to ask why I was being billed when I didn't see her on the day I was billed for, and the receptionist said Liza said that I had asked her a question through the portal that she needed to do research on, and she was billing me for that time she used to research. So in short, because Liza doesn't know the answer to a question her patient asks, which she should since it's in her specialized field, and chooses to research it on her own time, she bills you for an office visit without you knowing until the bill arrives at your doorstep. What a scam. In short, I arrived at my conclusion through extensive medical journal research, avoided the medication she referred to as a "red herring," and now, years later, zero episodes. Sometimes I wonder why we go see doctors who gaslight us, especially when we know our bodies best.

If you're looking for a patronizing pediatrician with a God-complex, this is the guy for you…read more I've been taking my daughter to Sansum clinic on Hitchcock to see Dr. Brennan since she was born in May of 2015. In September of 2016 she came down with a cough and she was given an inhaler from the nurse practitioner to treat it. The cough came back so of course I took her back in. His medical opinion was that she had seasonal allergies. Referred me to an allergist. Meanwhile Ava's condition was worsening. I brought her back in AGAIN to explain my concern and what did he do? Listen to a worried mother? No. Raised his voice at me and told he HE ALREADY TOLD ME TO SEE THE ALLERGIST. So Ava and I left, yet again, back home, losing money, time and sleep. We're now in February 2017 and Ava is still suffering. She's not sleeping through the night due to coughing, she has a fever every other day, she's refusing to eat or drink fluids. So today we go into the clinic (me, losing MORE time and work) and I ask for a chest X-ray because I'm not buying the "allergy" theory. And would you guess what? The results came back showing pneumonia. My almost 2 year old has a serious illness that was written off as ALLERGIES. At this point I am LIVID. "Doctor" Brennan was adamant that it was seasonal allergies, ignored my concerns and didn't even SUGGEST an X-ray. My daughter can't even vocalize how much pain she's in. I've now spent unnecessary time and money and my daughter has been suffering for 5 months all because he wouldn't listen to me, the parent. She has to go through painful antibiotic shots, take oral antibiotics and stay home for the next week. If Ava does not get better she'll have to be admitted into the hospital. If you're a parent, you know how much it hurts to see your child suffer and you can't help them. I'm so glad I stuck to my gut and got a second opinion. Needless to say, we won't be seeing Daniel Brennan ever again.
