I have five tattoos and all of them were done at Jims. I recommend them to everyone! This place is clean, organized, everyone there is super friendly! My first tattoo was April 12th 2014 with Kelly - the best experience - she was going out on maternity leave that day (rockstar!). The tattoo I wanted was going on my side and was pretty big. She explained to me what to expect and that if I needed a break or anything just let her know. She is so good I didn't need to take a break and before I knew it she said I was all set. The tattoo exceeded my expectations. Kelly is a master at what she does, professional and a great person. While she was out on maternity leave I had tattoos two and three done by Korie - he did an excellent job and is great with scripting. Tattoos four and five this past weekend. My daughters and I got matching ones. Kelly tattooed all of us in a blink of an eye and they look amazing. Then I told Kelly I was thinking of getting one on my shoulder and I asked her if she could draw up something - and so she did. I wanted to see how it would look and she put the outline on my shoulder. I loved it and asked her can you do it right now - she said sure. Kelly worked her magic and I absolutely love it! I had my first tattoo done yesterday at Jim's Tattooing. My wife had set up coming in with Joe, who is as personable as it gets. He actually helped us get our ideas set up and sent them to the artists to draw up. My wife had two tattoos done (one on her wrist and one on her foot) by Al. He was fantastic and did an amazing job, he detail was amazing and they came out beautifully. My wife was thrilled with the two tattoos she got and would recommend anyone to her tattoo dome by Al, especially if it's your first tattoo. I had my Celtic cross done by Ashley. I had an idea of adding my daughters names to the cross somehow and she came out with this beautiful design that was far better than anything I could have thought up. She's a fantastic artist, and fun to talk with. I will be recommending her to anyone I come across that's looking to get tattooed. The intricate details that she created on my tattoo will surely make everyone ask me where I got it. Jim's Tattoo is by far the best tattoo parlor I've been too... And I have walked into a few before. It's clean, everyone is personable and friendly and their artwork is amazing. I came to Jim's four days after my friend passed away on a whim from the good reviews. I had ideas of what I wanted, but nothing put together. The guy who greeted me and directed me to Jim to do my work was very friendly and inviting and also extremely helpful. He was kind of like a second hand to Jim while my work was being done. I liked that. I met with Jim and after incorporating a flash rose piece, he drew the rest of the tattoo directly on me. I trusted him and he addressed what I wanted. This tattoo was a 3 hour shoulder piece and my second and biggest tattoo. I was completely taken away by how beautiful it came out. He personalized the style of the rose in addition to beautifully executing the rest of my tattoo. Not only was the quality and experience amazing, but the price was very fair and determined by piece. My whole tattoo was one rose, two daffodils, a name and a background color. Again, I couldn't be more satisfied with the way I was treated and my overall experience. I first came here to follow my artist Ashley M. here. I couldn't be happier with this shop, all the artists have private rooms so you don't have to be bashful when you are tattooing an area that you have to get undressed for. You could tell they are popular just by standing in the waiting room due to the walk ins they had waiting. All of the artists are super invested in each others work and you can tell they have a solid team. You don't get that stuck up tattoo shop vibe here. Ashley is my artist and super talented. She has been able to tackle the projects I have thrown at her and have witnessed her art grow into some of my favorite tattoos as well as paintings. The shop itself is clean and welcoming and houses some true talent; I live in RI and have seen on more than one occasion a Jims Tattoo T-Shirt walking around, as well as complementing tattoos I have seen in Boston only to get referred to Jims in Seabrook. Clearly the 200 mile round trip I take to get tattooed here is entirely more than worth it. read more

We boarded a wrong plane back home, and had the spend a week around this area. It was kind of rough. My kid, Dunnes, was bouncing off the wall, but luckily my husband george had an idea! Dunnes spent all his hours drawing a tattoo, and then all of us went here to get it done! (I advised george to split it on the back of our hands, but he was adamant on getting a tramp stamp.) our kid was so happy to see his crayon drawing perfectly replicated on one of his dads! Anyways, two months ago, my mother passed on. I've begun to reconcile and accept life, but i'm still hurt deep inside. I went to Jim's about a week ago and got my first tattoo done by Ashley. I was nervous at the time but soon realized that there was no need to be. Ashley made me feel comfortable and treated me like a regular customer. The space that she worked out of was very clean and spacious. The design that she drew up for me was way more amazing than I even expected, It was far better than the reference photo I provided her with. It took about two hours overall to complete my tattoo. I found Jim's a few years back and got a few small tattoos by some of the guys there. Then I found Korie who has brought my half sleeve to a whole new level. Seriously... His work is ridiculous. Tom halamoutis is a shitty person in general. my friend was getting a tattoo and I stepped in to observe it and put my hand on the door handle and it hurt my finger. i then went a little closer since she asked me to look at the position of the stencil and leaned back again and leaned on the door and walked away for a second and as soon as I stepped into the lobby I realized my finger was sliced at least an inch down it and I went back over to let him know his door has a sharp part and he screamed at me to get the fuck out and pushed me out. no bandaid for my bleeding finger or anything. fuck yall fr. read more

Got my dad a gift card to Jim's for his retirement last Friday. Both he and I had gotten tattoos there and had good experiences. Unfortunately the gift card was left in a rental car by mistake. I called right away and explained the situation, told them I had the receipt and asked if they could void the original and allow me to pick up a new one. I was told "tough luck, that's the price of life" and there's nothing they could do. Wasn't asking for a refund, just a replacement. I understand losing it is my fault, but the response was pretty disappointing. Neither I or my dad will be back. read more

I have gotten all 4 of my tattoos here. Great atmosphere, I got my first by Dave Schumaker, who isnt there anymore, but he was a great artist and cool guy. The rest of my tattoos have been done by Ashley Matthias. She is a great artist and I probably wouldn't want anyone else to tattoo me. I even requested her to do a simple piece of Halloween flash. I had an amazing experience at Jims tattoo this past Sunday.. I needed a cover up tattoo and I had gone to tattoo america first and they was going to charge me $450 and said it have to be 2 sessions.. So my husband an I went to Jims and was very pleased as soon as we walked in.. They was up front and honest, gave me some advice, I wait 3 hours to see Dave and he did such an amazing job drawing it out free hand.. Also it was only $200 and done all in one session!!! I came to get a tattoo done by my favorite artist, Dan, who is newer to the shop. I can't recommend him enough! He is happy to work with you on the design, but definitely check out his original art as well! So many talented artists and a very clean and professional environment. I have had tattoos done in other shops in which the artists are responsible for answering phones and addressing walk in appointments, which can be very distracting, but not here! I've followed her from location to location because she does amazing work. Her color work and traditional work is AMAZING. Very clean, friendly place and usually you can walk in and get taken right away with excellent results. Prices are great starting at $60.00, lower than most surrounding places. Absolutely amazing. I love the atmosphere and all of the guys here. I've gotten a small tattoo from josh, another small one from pete, and a beautiful piece on my shoulder from dan. With my shoulder i went in 30 mins before close. Dan drew it up better than i could imagine and did my outline that night. Came back a couple weeks later for color and im more than impressed. Jim's is a great place to get tattooed. The service and artistry are top notch. I got my forearms done by Al, the linework is crisp and the colors pop. I am currently working on a leg lower leg sleeve with Joe centered around a traditional eagle. I came into Jim's earlier this week with one of my friends. I ended up having 2 tattoos done by Dave and I absolutely love both of them. One was a smaller one on my finger and the other an amazing piece he designed on my sternum. Dave managed to draw up a completely original design and it was incredibly beautiful. This is the only tattoo shop I've been to and the service is fantastic. There is always someone to greet you and, although my tattoos have been done by Al, all the artists' recommendations are sincere. I've never had a poor tattoo done or one that needs to be retouched. I always get questioned by friends and coworkers where I get my tattoos done. The shop is clean and comfortable. It's exciting to see how they turn ideas into beautiful tattoos. read more

Went in for a simple tattoo. The older man that greeted us was nice and eager to help. The guy who ended up doing my tattoo was Dave. When he finished it was just an outline. I asked if he could shade it a little. Big mistake. Now that it's healed it looks blown out and very old. I have tattoos that are 10 years old that look brand new. I will now have to get someone else to fix it as I'm weary of going back to Jim's. Very disappointed. read more
