Over the last several years I have been planning a piece with a half dozen elements to blend together. That said, it's been dragged out because I've never been able to satisfactorily get it from my mind, to a truly coherent vision that I'm confident in having forever on my body. The thought process it takes to be able to visualize and incorporate all of the elements in a artful way is a talent supported by a skill set developed over many years. This is something that is out of my wheelhouse, so procrastination won the day, or at least the last 972 days....
So when I happened to run into Bob while out and about two weeks ago, it turned into a relief. 5 minutes of him listening to my idea, I became rededicated to dropping the hammer on this thing because he was quickly and seemingly effortlessly able to take all of the parts and put them in a cohesive vision... It was like a mental anchor being lifted. Then we sat down last week and started a physical framework with design aspects that I hadn't even considered, but made it come to life...
The long and short.
