Jims is locally known as a 'cheap' shop, and I don't think much has changed in there in the years I have been going! Stocking a wide range of goods including DIY, fishing goods, toys, homewares, cookware, books, gifts, this is the kind of shop I would go to even if I wanted something slightly unusual cheaper than elsewhere because they just might have it. Fairly easily accessible with a couple of steps to get in on one floor. There are steps up to the next floor but I believe a door on the next street will take you straight into the second floor from street level. I think this is a great bargain shop. You can pick up loads of household items really cheap like bin bags and they are still of a good quality. There is a bit of everything, including things you never knew you needed until you seen them! Prices are brilliant, quality on most things is good, but you have to choose wisely. For example, paint brushes tend to lose more hair than put paint on the wall. It is quite crammed in the shop, but the range is what you would call extensive. read more
